Felix accepted Chan's offer to help pay for his school, like he said before, he didn't mind it.
It was another weekend and he was meeting up with one of his close friends to shop around with.
"Lixie!"
"Mark!" ( Mark Tuan Folks)
The two ran up hugging each other.
"I haven't seen you in weeks! How are things?"
"I know, I'm a bad best friend. I'm ok though" he joked.
The two shopped around at a mall and then stopped at a cafe to catch up. While they were talking Felix was telling Mark about his " arrangement" with Chan.
"WHAT?!"
"Hush Mark!"
"Sorry..."
"Um...ya...it's not that bad. I mean...he's nice sometimes and I need the money-"
"Felix, he's practically treating you like a prostitute!"
"What?? No, it's not like that-"
"Lix, accepting money for sex is prostitution"
"Can you keep your voice down! I'm not one..." Felix huffed shaking his head.
"Look, I'm not saying you are. I'm saying he's treating you like one" Mark took his hand saying softly.
Felix looked down thinking for a moment.
Is what I'm doing...wrong...?
"Felix you're just so sweet...I don't want you to get hurt...by some rich dude who's using you"
"I know...But he's nice most the time...he's not as much as an ass when I told you when I first started"
"Well I mean that's good and all...but still, you need someone who will take care of you. A real boyfriend"'
"But Chan...he's-"
"Only your boss, not your boyfriend. Boyfriends don't pay you for sex and they sure as hell don't let you leave after each time....not even most one night stands do that" Mark sighed.
Felix kept thinking over what Mark said, he wasn't wrong. Everything he said was true.
"I know but-"
"And what does he call it? Employee benefits ? I mean ya, getting fucked by your hot boss is nice and all...but you two have doing this for months. There is no way you can't tell me there isn't some type of attachment you two have now?" Mark gave him a look.
"Well..." Felix kept listening, knowing Mark was hitting each point dead on.
"Lixie be honest with me...do you like him? Like more than just for money and sex?" He asked the blonde softly.
Felix let out a sigh trying to be honest, when he did his emotions took over.
"I-I think so..."
"And you would rather have him as your boyfriend than employee benefits? "
Felix nodded.
"I would...but he doesn't feel the same Mark. He basically said I belong to him until my debt is paid off..."
"What?! You see what I mean! This isn't healthy for you Felix, you're getting attached without knowing it...but you already know that he doesn't want more. He doesn't want a relationship"
"I know...I know all of it..." Felix wiped away some tears that began to fall.
"Then if you do..." Mark held on tighter to his hand.
