And just like that Tsukishima was finally off to get lunch. Luckily, he had a long lunch today. Lunch is already an hour itself, but since he didn't have his next class until 12:45 and his last class ended at ten, it gave him an hour and forty minutes to spare and relax. He decided to make his way to the cafeteria making the decision to pick something out of a vending machine then head to the library to study.
Finally making his decision, Tsukishima headed for the stairs to make his way down to the the hallway with all the vending machines. Only half way down the stairs Tsukishima's felt his phone buzz in his hoodie pocket. Stopping at the bottom of the resting area of the stairs, he pulled his phone out, tapping his screen to reveal two messages from Kuroo.
Kuroo
Have lunch yet?
I brought you some. I'm at the front of your campus.Tsukishima had to read the messages more than once. Probably even five times. He ducked down to look at the window next to him in which, lucky for him, showed the front area of his campus. It was like his vision was a perfect 20/20, like his whole blind life was a lie, he found Kuroo. Right at the water fountain, sitting on the bench that was behind it. He also stuck out since he was really the only human being wearing a full work suit while on a school campus filled with college students.
Tsukishima threw his phone back into his hood pocket and practically ran down the stairs. Thanks to his long legs and better stamina, he got to Kuroo within, practically, five minutes.
"You that excited to see me?" He could hear the smart remark of Kuroo once Tsukishima close the gap between them.
"Why the hell are you here?"
"I'm I not allowed on a public college campus?"
God if he could, Tsukishima would just slap him and throw Kuroo into the water fountain. Why was he really here? He had no reason, and judging by his suit, he had work today, so why waste time to see him when he should be at work. From the corner of his eyes, Tsukishima could see a few other campus students turning and pointing at them. Guess it's big news when you see you handsome man in a work suit at a public campus talking to a student. God, Tsukishima hated the spotlight.
"Look just go. You making a scene and getting peoples attention."
"You jealous? They're staring because how hot I am. Or maybe...they're jealous that I'm talking to you rather than themselves." Kuroo reached his hand out as if he wanted to pull Tsukishima into a hug, his arm around the waist. Tsukishima caught this and step away pushing Kuroo's hand away.
"Why are you here?"
"I brought you some late breakfast, or rather early lunch. I figured you didn't eat this morning and I thought of you when I stopped by a small convenience store. Plus I have a meeting only a few blocks from here at a fancy restaurant in an hour. Judging that you're out here and you didn't give me an excuse you had class, you're probably on lunch now right?" It was like he had thought the whole plan out before coming here. Tsukishima was a bit terrified. Did he really just work as a CEO of a sports company? "Come I have some food for you in my car."
"What? Hell n-" Kuroo turned and started walking, making his way towards the campus gates.
"Let's go!" He waved his back to Tsukishima while still facing forward. Tsukishima didn't want to make more of a scene and followed Kuroo back to his car. He really had no other excuse to give him. Once Tsukishima caught up and was beside Kuroo now, he heard Kuroo say quietly, "Perfect."
