chapter 6

The day was finally here; today Lilly and Casey are going to manchester.they are stopping in a premier in near to cannel street so they don't have to walk to far after a night out.the two of them are catching the train,Lilly isn't fond of trains after a scary experience she had as a child.ok it wasn't really that bad,all that happend was her parents got the wrong platform and they ended up on a train going the wrong way,they had to take a couple more trains to get back home.to most children this would be an exciting adventure but to eight year old Lilly it was her worst nightmare,she just wanted to go home and felt like she was never going to get there Lilly trusted Casey to not get them lost and lead them in the right direction so she relaxed a little on the train.

"I can't wait to get away this will be the first night out in ten years" Lilly said as they found thier seats on the train." It's going to be good my friend,once we get there we will drop out bags of and have a wander before golf" Casey said.lilly let out a sigh thinking how grateful she was to get a break away from home,she knows Adam will try and face time her slit but at least she isn't stuck at home.

After dropping thier bags of at the hotel they wandered  around Manchester nipping into a baker to get Lilly something to eat,Lilly hasn't drank for some time so she knows she needs food or she will get drunk to quickly.they now had an hour to find junkyard golf,she used to be really good at when she was younger so Lilly thinks it will be easy to beat Casey. junkyard golf has three courses,it has a carnival one which is the one the girls are doing,a course called Gary which is a scrapyard and a Aztec one.junkyard golf was for over eighteen only unless it wasn't a peak day because they server alcohol.

When the girls found it they were ten minutes early so they checked in ( you have to book time slots as it gets busy) then went to the bar to order some cocktails.there were so many strange connections.casey had a bubblegum one which had fizzy laces hanging from it and fizzy bubble gum bottles in it.lilly stuck to something close to what she used to drink, Malibu it was her favourite.she had one that had Malibu and some other stuff in tipped with whipped cream and sweets.it was very strong and very sickly so she could not drink it all. Seen as all she had eaten all day was a sausage roll and it was a strong drink she became a little tipsy.

When the girls played golf it was very funny,the course they were doing was not the easiest one,you had to stand on platforms and hot the ball up tiny ramps.there was a carousel on one hole which you could sit on and have your picture taken. The clowns painted on the walls were freaky (good thing neither off them were scared of clowns) Casey actually won and Lilly kept blaming it on the drink but Casey won't have any of that.

Later that night while the girls were getting ready Jake and Sarah called so that Lilly could say goodnight to them.that part the phone call Lilly enjoyed it was when Adam started to talk it out a damper on her mood. He tried to tell her what to wear,he accused her of going our on the pull. Lilly has only worn a dress Infront of him once cause he made her,now he seems to think she will dress slutty to pull. She reminded him that he said it was ok for her to go and he should of said otherwise if it was not after that he was nice again.

Once they were ready they headed of to a club on canal street.after getting thier drinks they sat outside smoking and chatting,it was a little early for them to go inside and dance yet,the club's were still quite." I've had enough Casey how dare he say I'm going to cheat on him,I just want to feel loved,like I'm actually worthy of something is that to much to ask" Lilly thought out loud. " No it's not Lilly,you are worth it,when you figure out what you want you will feel it" Casey as always was the voice of reason.

"Thanks now I want to know who is coming to your hen party next month?" Lilly asked. Aaron and Casey were finally getting married,Lilly was looking forward to it,she was going to be Casey's maid of honour,this would be the first time ever she has been an important part of someone's wedding.she didn't mind having to wear a dress for Casey's wedding,she is after all her best friend and it's a special occasion,although Casey did say she could wear a suit but Lilly declined. "Jenny, Sam, Lianne, Emma, Debbie, my mum, Amy, Amy my cousin, dale, my aunties and couple of my mum's friends" Casey listed of. "Are you and Debbie getting along now?" Lilly asked.

Debbie was Casey's soon to be sister in law. They didn't really get along, Casey said she was very controling trying to tell her what to do, that she has a I'm better than everyone else attitude and it rubbed Casey up the wrong way. Lilly had briefly met her before bit they didn't really speak. It was at a BBQ Casey and Aaron had,nLilly was a little nervous as she didn't know many people there." Yea she's not been as demanding as she was before, and I just hope it can be that way over the hen party weekend" Casey said.

Lilly wasn't paying any attention to what Casey was saying to her,at that precise moment a gorgeous blonde woman had walked by.lilly couldn't help but check her out.lilly wants nothing more than to ask her to dance but she is afraid of rejection from both the woman and Casey. She knows Casey would accept her no matter what but the fear of losing her best friend is still there.lilly was lost in her thoughts, what if her life could be like she never met Adam bit this makes her feel guilty. If she never met Adam she wouldn't have her kids.

" Earth to lilly" Casey snapped her out of her thoughts. "What?" Lilly asked.   " where did your mind go?" Casey was curious it's not like Lilly to zone out when she is talking to her. Lilly had to come up with an excuse vreakky quick she was no where near ready to come out to Casey yet,she did think coming to canal Street which is full of gay clubs would give her the courage but it's not to be this time.lilky just told her she was thinking about the kids,Casey believed her,It wasn't to far from the truth so she made it believable.lilly was glad to hear Casey and Debbie are getting along better now once Casey repeated herself.

While the girls enjoyed the rest of thier might dancing ( Lilly is a terrible dancer but after a few drinks who cares) Adam was waiting for a guest. " I'm so glad you could come round Steph, my stupid wife is away and the kitchen ds are in bed" Adam said to Steph. " I'm happy to come round any time,take me any way you would like baby" Steph whispered to him.
