Chapter 3

"Hey, who's Kiri?"

My eyes widen as I hit the curb. "N-nobody! Just text the girls!" He squints at the phone. "It doesn't seem like a "nobody"." I quickly look at him in confusion. "What are you talking about?" He snickers as he reads the text aloud.

Ok, I'm going to sleep now, pebble. Hope you have a good day at school today, :)

I feel my ears get hot in embarrassment. I try to reach for my phone but its quit troublesome considering I'm driving. "Ugh!! Please dont tell me you opened the message!" He looks at me as if I was stupid. "Of course I opened it! How else was I supposed to read it?" I slap a palm to my forehead. "Through the damn drop down menu!! Uggh!! Now I have to reply." I rub my temple with my right hand why my left hand is on the steering wheel. "What do you want me to say?" I let out a big sigh.

"Just tell him I said 'Goodnight' with a smiley face. Please and Thank you." "Okay, will do." I can basically hear the smirk in his voice. "Breyze. I swear on my fucking YEEZYS, you better not say anything stupid." He laughs at that. "I didn't say anything weird! I texted him what you wanted me to tell him, and now I'm about to text the girls." I let out a big sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." After he texts the girls, he puts my phone in the cup holder.

Raven is the first one to get picked up, considering she only lives like 8 minutes away. I pull up to her house and honk the horn. "Let's go bitch! We have to hurry, we still have to get Alia!" I continue to honk my horn until I see her front door open. She comes outside with an agitated look on her face as her dad stands in the doorway. I stand on my knees in the seat and wave at him. "Hey pops!" I see him wave back. "Have a good day at school today!" I nod and throw him a thumbs up before I sit back down.

Breyze gets out of the car and holds the door open for her. He bows in a royal manner. "For you, my precious queen." I laugh as she rolls her eyes and throws her bag in the backseat. As she is about to hop over the side of the car, Breyze stops her. "No kiss for your beloved king?" He gives her puppy eyes. She stares at him and rolls her eyes "You're not my boyfriend, dude." She goes to jump again before my brother stops her once more. "What? Are you afraid to kiss me?" He wears a cocky look on his face.

In the blink of an eye, Raven grabs my brother by the throat and kisses him roughly before pushing him away. "I'm not afraid to do anything, fucking dumbass." She hopes in the backseat as my brother stands there with his mouth wide open, shocked. I stifle to hold back my laugh. Breyze often flirts with Raven because he knows it annoys her. He doesn't actually like her, and she doesn't like him. So when she kissed him, he really wasn't prepared.

I honk the horn, startling him out of his trance. "Hurry the hell up, we still have to pick up Alia." He finally gets in the car and slumps down in the seat, crossing his arms. Raven laughs and leans over the back of his seat. "What's wrong, my beloved king? Were you not prepared for a little kiss?" He turns around in his seat and glares at her. "Of course I wasn't ready. Why would you do that?" She laughs. "You asked me for a kiss?!" She leans in closer to his face and whispers in his ear. "Why? Do you want another one?" He flicks her forehead and turns around in his seat, still pouting.

She laughs even harder and leans back in her seat clutching her stomach. I laugh along with her and pull of towards Alia's house. After she finishes laughing, she leans back and relaxes as the wind whips past. Bored of the silence, she reaches over the front seat to turn on the radio and connects her phone to the bluetooth. She puts on her Frank Ocean playlist and turns it all the way up.

The song 'Chanel' started playing we all started singing along and dancing. I'm pretty sure we were getting weird looks, but we didn't care.

Ater about 3 songs later, we pulled up to Alia's house. I'm sure she heard the music down the street, but I honk anyways. Alia comes running out of the door to the car. As she is getting in the back with Raven, I see her front door open again. There stands Able, in human form, in nothing but a pair of red sweatpants.
