Chapter 17

HOLY SHIT I HIT 1.3K READS AHHDJVE; RVI'JBNERV ANYWAYS I'VE BEEN GONE FOR LIKE 3 WEEKS BUT IM BACK! And I do apologize for the wait, college and work are kicking my ass! The chapters won't be as long as they used to be.

Erica's POV

"Hey, boom boom boy! Wanna sit next to me on the bus?" He growls. "Of course not! Why would I sit next to an extra like you!?" I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe because you like me or something?" He tries to hit me but I slide out of the way. "Miss me, miss me! Now you wanna kiss me!" He tries to lunge at me but Aizawa pulls him back with his scarf. "Stop fooling around and get on the bus. We're leaving now." I skip past Bakugo and stick out my tongue. I grab Kirishima's hand and pull him onto the bus with me. 

While on the way to USJ, everyone was talking among themselves while I was playing on my phone. I feel Kirishima tug on my braids and I wince. "Ow. Please don't pull on my hair, I just did it." I look over at him staring at my hair in amazement. "Your hair is so pretty! And long! How long did it take?" I watch as he hovers his hand over my braids, wanting to touch them. I laugh. "It's ok to touch them, Kiri, just be gentle. And it would normally take me 6 hours to do box braids this long, but since I used my quirk, it only took about 1 hour." (Her box braids go down to her mid-thighs.)

I feel a pair of eyes on me and look up to see Tsu, Koda, and Tokoyami looking at me. "You guys can feel it too if you want. I don't mind!" They come over and start messing with my braids. I look up and see other members of the class doing the same thing with Alia and Raven because they had the same hairstyle. I feel a tap on my thigh and look down. Mineta looks up at me with puppy dog eyes. I glare and then roll my eyes and slightly smile. "Fine. Come on." I pick him up and sit him on my lap while he is mesmerized by my hair. Everyone looks at Mineta and me in shock, especially the girls. "Why are you guys looking at me like that?" Mina looks from over the seat in front of me. "He's not molesting you?!" I shake my head and smile. "Nope! Mineta and I are friends now!" That seems to shock everyone even more. 

"Oi, grape head! What did you do to her?! Did you give her a potion of some sort?!" Everyone starts to attack him with questions and accusing him of blackmailing me. "W-w-wait guys! I didn't do anything, I swear! Erica help me out here!" I cover Mineta's ears and use my quirk. "Everyone sit down and shut up." They all get quiet and sit down. "Release." I uncover his ears and clear my throat. "Ok, so, Mineta is my friend. And no, he ain't do no hoodoo voodoo shit on me, nor did he blackmail me. I just-" I feel him tense and he looks at me and shakes his head. I sigh and nod. "I just felt like he needed a friend. And we made a deal. If I became his friend, he wouldn't touch me inappropriately." Kirishima put his hand on Mineta's shoulder. "If Erica is your friend, then I am too! But if you touch her inappropriately," He gives his shoulder a squeeze. "I won't be happy." I laugh and take his hand away from the frightened boy and give it a small squeeze. "Thanks, Kiri, but I promise you, I can handle myself!"

"Yea we know." Sero and Mineta shiver knowing what I am capable of. The rest of the class agrees. "Alright brats, shut up and settle down. We are pulling up now." The bus pulls up to USJ and we all get off the bus. I meet eyes with Thirteen and she waves at me, so I wave back and smile. I hear a squeal behind me and turn around to Uraraka jumping up and down. "You know the pro hero, Thirteen!?! Are you guys close? How long have you known her? What's she like outside of work? Have you guys ever-" I cover her mouth with my hand. "Uraraka, please calm the frick down. No, I don't know her personally, this is my first time meeting her. We just happened to make eye contact and we acknowledged each other. It's no big deal." I remove my hand and she takes deep breathes. "Sorry about that! It's just that she is my favorite hero and I got really excited!" I shake my head. "Nah, you good, sis. I understand!" I smile at her and walk up behind Alia and slap her ass.
