So I am currently preparing for my drama exams, for which I have to do two contrasting monologues. And despite there being countless monologues out there I struggeled to find ones I liked. So I'm making this book to give people who need monologues, either for exams or auditions, a wide variety to choose from.
For my exam I was given a theme (discovery) which my monologues had to be based on. That's what I mainly struggled with; finding two contrasting monologues that fitted that category. However I managed it, so if anybody needs help with finding monologues within a certain theme, just leave a comment and I, and other users hopefully, will help you.
Also if you want to request that I compose/find a monologue for a specific character or theme just ask and I will try my best to do so.
Before each monologue I will include a brief explanation of where it is from and what character is talking. I will also tell you how long it took me to read it, in order to give you an idea of the length of the monologue. I hope this will help you :)
