"i'll love you forever."

Peggy's eyes fluttered open as she stared at the ceiling. The events from the previous bught flooded her mind.

" Morning." Finn smiled as he tied his tie. "Morning." She said hesitantly. "I suppose we need to talk about last night."

Finn sighed, "I'm sorry, Peggy. Truly, I did flirt with her but she can't compare to you. You're funny, smart, gorgeous-" He was cut off by Peggy standing up and leaving the room. He watched her as she made her way down the stairs until she was put his sight.

"Idiot." She muttered to herself. She began to make a cup of tea and plan her day out in her head. What was there to do? Finn would be working, although she hadn't really wanted to spend her day with him. She didn't know anyone here, except the Shelby's and she didn't know her way around Birmingham.

'Well, a day tidying I suppose,' She thought to herself. Deep joy.

Finn finished getting ready. Perhaps getting Peggy to forgive him would be harder than he thought. He slid on his boots and made his way downstairs to the kitchen were Peggy stood, gazing blankly out the window.

"You alright, Pegs?" He asked. "Don't call me that." She didn't move her gaze from the grey skies that loomed over Small Heath. "What is there to in Small Heath, exactly?" Peggy turned to face her husband.

"Not much," Finn chuckled. "I suppose there's the pub. And the docks."

"Is there some sort of park, perhaps?" Peggy interrupted. "Yeah, down by the docks but take a left."

"Good. That's today sorted then." Peggy stood up, leaving a half cup of still warm tea and going to their shared bedroom.

Once she was finished getting changed, she slid on some boots. She missed her home, there was far much more to do. There were plenty of parks to walk im, plenty of cafés to sip tea in and plenty of bookshops to spend all day in. Small Heath was nothing like home.

Peggy stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes began to prickle with heavy tears that soon found themself flooding down her cheeks. She hurriedly wiped them away and sniffled. Oh dear, she thought to herself.

She had no intention of forgiveness for the time being however living with his stupid lopsided smirk made it incredibly difficult. Finn had not bothered to say goodbye, which stung Peggy's heart ever so slightly, but she couldn't complain. She had not been the most kind.
