Drunk Idiot|| JJ Maybank

Summary: JJ gets drunk and you two get into a fight and break up only for you to find out your pregnant a few weeks later.

JJ was drunk that much was obvious and when JJ was drunk he was usually angry or got there very easily. Tonight though, he was already angry, you two had been having issues lately, it seemed like you would argue over anything and everything. But, that's how you and JJ had always been when it was good it was great but when it was bad it was awful to say the least. You two over all were a very happy couple but, like every couple you have rough patches every once in a while that was to be expected after dating for three years.
"Babe I think that's enough."
You tell him after he goes to grab another beer
"Ugh get off my back mom."
He says rolling his eyes
"Okay JJ, do whatever you want I don't care."
You got up and walked over to John B
"Hey Y/N, want a drink."
He says holding a red solo cup out in front of you.
"No thanks JB, I'm not feeling to hot do you have any water?"
You ask feeling a little nauseous and dizzy.
"Um not on me, I know there isn't any in the cooler, but there's some inside you know where everything is help yourself."
You nod at him and walk up the beach to the château. Grabbing a bottle of water you walk back down to the beach still feeling a little dizzy but you hoped the water would help with that. As you were walking you lost your balance and braced yourself for an impact that never came you looked up to see Kelce holding you waist he helps you stand up straight.
"Woah, you okay?"
He says still holding your waist
"Yeah Kelce, thanks your a life saver."
You say smiling at him
"Just doing my job, have to keep the little princess safe."
He says bowing to you you roll your eyes but curtsy to him anyways.
"Thanks again Kelce."
You say chucking and walking away when JJ came up to you and grabbed your arm and taking you to the château.
"What the hell was that?"
He said
"What are you talking about JJ?"
You asked
"The bow, calling you princess, and you laughing with him and being flirty."
"JJ Maybank I know you are not talking about me and Kelce."
"Who the hell else would I be talking about."
"JJ, me and Kelce are friends you know that's how we are. I never get mad at you for how you mess around with Kie and Sarah."
"They're different and you know it."
"How are they different J?"
"I don't know, they just are."
"No they aren't JJ they are your friends. I trust you with them so why don't you trust me with Kelce?"
"Cause he's a kook."
"So am I"
"I don't trust him."
"Even if that's the case I've never given you a reason not trust me."
He looked at you knowing you were right.
"JJ this argument is stupid and I'm done having it, we will talk when your sober and can actually hold an intellectual conversation."
You say kissing his cheek and walking to the door.
"If you walk out that door we're done."
He says stopping you in your tracks. You turn back to him.
"JJ you are beyond drunk."
"You heard me if you leave we are done."
He says with venom in his voice
"JJ call me when your sober and we will talk this out."
With that you walk out the door.
JJ never called you so you never called him. The pouges split their time with the two of you like you were their parents who had gotten divorced. Today was your day but you weren't feeling good still so they all came over to your house.
"You don't feel warm."
Pope says feeling your forehead
"Is it that your heart is sad?"
Sarah says
"Sarah stop talking to me like I'm five. No it's not JJ I've been feeling shitty since before the break up."
Kie raised her eyebrow at you
"What do you mean?"
"I've been nauseous, dizzy, I've thrown up a couple of times."
"When was your last period?"
She says. You thought about it for a second your eyes went wide.
"Oh shit."
You say looking at her
Kie and Sarah go down to the pharmacy and buy a couple of pregnancy tests.
"Here."
Kie says throwing them on the bed when they return
"We will be here when your done."
You nod at them and go into the bathroom and take the test.
You look at the test in your hands and throw it in the trash along with the others as you walk out into your bedroom and look at all the pouges (minus JJ of course) but you can't see them through the tears that are threatening to fall any second. John B looks up when he hears you walk out and immediately knows the answer. He gets up and hugs you the second your pressed into his chest the tears start falling freely.
"It's okay, we will figure this out."
"B-but JJ."
You say sobbing
"We will cross that bridge after you have a second to wrap your head around this."
Pope says joining the hug and then the girls join in. When the hug ends everyone sits back down you lay down with your head in Kie's lap and your legs in Sarah's.
"What am I gonna do?"
You ask quietly
"What ever you do we support your decision, we won't judge you."
Sarah says
"What about JJ?"
You ask again
"We won't tell him til your ready."
John B says
"I'm gonna keep the baby with or with out JJ."
You say looking at them
"Then we support you 110%, babe."
Sarah says
"I'm gonna have to figure out how to tell him, he's the dad, he deserves to know. If you guys could give me like two maybe three weeks to figure out how to tell him."
"Like I said, JJ won't know til your ready for him to know."
John B says smiling at you. You knew how hard this was going to be for him, for all of them really, but JJ was his best friend, more like his brother, they don't keep secrets from each other.  You knew you had to figure out fast how to tell him before John B slipped up.
Two weeks later you were stuck in the same boat of not knowing how to break the news to JJ about the baby situation so, you texted the only person who knew JJ as well as you did, John B. Little did you know today was guys night so JJ was over at JB's they were playing a video game when his phone dinged, John B paused the game and grabbed his phone.
"Dude it's guys night, text Sarah later."
JJ said snatching his phone
"What does it say any ways 'oh John B-' wait why did Y/N text you?"
"JJ give it back."
John B says jumping towards him to grab the phone before JJ could read the message but JJ jumped on the table and held the phone above his head.
"No JB. Why the hell did Y/N text you."
"JJ give it back."
Pope says also trying to get the phone JJ looked for an escape so he could read the message. He looked over and saw the bathroom door wide open so he takes off toward it slamming the door and locking it. He opens John B's phone.
'Any ideas on how to tell JJ about the baby?'
He had to reread the message three times to make sure he read it right. He walks out the bathroom with red eyes
"You two are supposed to be my best friends."
"J-"
"No, Pope, this isn't some stupid little secret this is the biggest secret and you two kept it from me."
"JJ, we wanted to tell you man but it wasn't our secret to tell. You are our best friend but we also love Y/N, you would do the same thing for Sarah or Kie and we all know it."
John B says. JJ went over to the couch and sat down with his face in his hands.
"I really fucked up guys."
JJ says looking at them
"Yeah you did dude but, we still love you no matter how bad you fuck up"
Pope says hugging JJ trying to help him feel a little better.
"I didn't even want to break up with her I was drunk and pissed off and oh my God I've lost the best thing that's ever happened to me."
JJ says
"JJ she misses you but after all this I can't promise she will take you back."
John B says
"I want to get her back I want to be a good dad for the baby. I want both of them."
"Then you better go get them."
Pope says
JJ grabs his stuff and leaves his friends standing there proud and maybe a little confused to how he was going to manage to pull this one off.
About an hour after you texted John B he called you
"I'm sorry."
Is the first thing out of his mouth
"John B what did you do?"
You ask him trying to stay calm
"JJ might have found out."
"Damn it John B I knew it would be your ass to tell him."
"Y/N-"
He started only to be cut off by a banging on your door downstairs
"I'm sure that's him. Thanks JB."
You say hanging up on him. You walk downstairs and open the door to see JJ standing there with a bouquet of daisies and your favorite chocolate you raise your eyebrows at him.
"Is that supposed to make up for you breaking my heart?"
You ask
"I didn't think it could hurt."
He said
"Why didn't you tell me?"
He asked, you could hear the hurt in his voice, you open the door wider so he could come inside.
"JJ, I was going to tell you I just had to figure out how."
You said
"Why didn't you call me?"
"Cause I thought I messed everything up and you would be better off with out me."
He says honestly.
"JJ, if you are just trying to get back with me because of the baby, I have no intentions of keeping it from you."
"I know you wouldn't do that and I promise it's not just cause of the baby, you can ask the boys or the girls, I was going crazy without you. I'm so sorry I promise you it will never happen again baby I'm just an idiot. I don't deserve you and I know this and I promise I will keep trying to do better for you and our baby."
He says grabbing your waist and rubbing his thumbs across your belly
"JJ, I'm going to give you one more time to back out, you can stay in the baby's life I promise but, if you are just trying to get back with me because of the baby, this relationship won't work and I can't take another heart break."
"I promise I want both of you and I'm so sorry. I'll spend the rest of my days in this life and the next telling you how sorry I am."
You look at him you could tell he meant every word.
"This is your last chance Maybank, don't screw it up."
