Jisung's P.O.V

The day had gone slightly less as chaotic as I had imagined it would. I had to change my outfit multiple times, but that wasn't a new development. Jeongin had helped as much as he could while having to hold the new baby girl all day. The new kids were easy to watch, and the little new toddler boy, Min-Jun, might be the most snuggly and precious thing I have ever met.

I got the honor to put him down for a nap, and he was so cuddly and adorable. His sister was an absolute godsend, and had been super helpful all day. Her dad was extremely lucky to have such a great kid. The older of the other two new kids seemed very shy, and only really played with his baby sister or by himself.

Once the older kids had all gone to school for the day, we had a relatively quiet time. During nap time, we got all of the kids to sleep, even if Jeongin did have to hold little Eun-Hae the whole time. All of the parents came at their scheduled times, and soon the only kids left were the new ones.

Their parents were not late, but the other kids scheduled pick up times were just earlier. I decided to make dinner after Chan had come to get his kids, since Minho seemed like he was going to be late. Jeongin was passed out on the couch, baby Eun-Hae having worn him out.

Little Min-Jun was on my hip as I cooked with the other hand. Min-Ji, being the angel she is, was standing on a chair next to me and helping me cook. I wasn't the best of chefs, but I had to be able to cook basic things for the kids, so I was competent.

I just whipped up some simple bibimbap and made the kids some plates. Min-Ji helped set the table and I put Min-Jun in his highchair. The toddler boy immediately started to gobble down his food, making a huge mess on his sweater. My eyes flitted over to Min-Ji, who was eating in just about the opposite way of her brother.

She was sitting at the table with her plate of food in front of her, eating all prim and proper with her chopsticks. A small smile formed on my face as I watched the two kids, wondering how their parents behaved, and if it was anything like them. That had always been one of my favorite parts of this job, getting to meet the families, and seeing how their kids were alike to them or how different they were.

With Felix, Changbin and the triplets, it was really interesting to see how they were. Haneulie really lived up to his name, and was one of the sweetest, most timid babies I had ever met and was just like Felix. Hee-Jun, on the other hand, was just about as scheming and mischievous as they came, and was like all of Changbin hyung's playfulness smushed into one kid. The oldest triplet, Ha-Yoon, was just the smartest and most organized baby, which was a little bit of both of them.

I didn't know enough about Mr.Lee to know what traits his kids got from him, or not. I just sat there eating, observing the little kids, and smiling at how cute they were. "When will Appie come?" Min-Junnie asked me, his eyes looking like the pouting emoji.

"He'll be here soon, he's just a little late." I assured checking the time to see that he was definitely more than a little late, in fact he was three hours late. I tried not to freak out and I realized that Jeongin had put the paperwork away and gone to bed, so I didn't know what, or where, their dad's phone number was.

After I cleaned up the food, Min-Jun was extremely tired, and so was his sister. Jeongin had moved into his room to sleep, so I was able to sit in one of the seats with Min-Jun koala hugging my chest, and Min-Ji spread out on the other cushions. I had gotten them both blankets so they wouldn't get cold while we waited for their dad.

As soon as I thought about their father, there was a knock at the door. I stood up carefully, trying to keep the the toddler on me asleep. With one of my hands under Min-Jun's tiny thighs to hold him up, I walked to the front door and opened it to reveal the distraught, but still crazy handsome, father of the sleeping kids.

"I'm so sorry that I'm late!" He whispered urgently, walking in after I stepped aside to let him in. "My boss kept me late, and it wasn't until then that I realized I didn't have your number to call you and let you know." He explained quickly, walking over to kneel by his daughter as I shut the door behind him.

He reached out and smoothed down her sleep mussed hair, looking at her with eyes that oozed such a gentle affection that I felt my heart flutter. With all the care in the world he lifted her up and walked toward the door.

"I can help you carry them out, and don't worry about the blankets, we've got a million of them." I assured him and he chuckled quietly as I opened the door for him. I shut the door behind us and followed him out to his car, helping him get the two sleeping kids into their carseats.

After we had the kids situated, Minho walked back around to the side of the car I was at. "Hey, can I get your number so this doesn't happen again?" He asked me, pulling out his phone. "Not that I wouldn't want it for any other reason." He said, sending me a wink and making me glad he couldn't see my blush in the dark.

A/N:Thank you so much and I'm sorry to the few people who actually read this. I haven't updated in forever because highschool is kicking my butt, especially online. The perfectionist in me has to have a 4.0 GPA, which I do have right now, but that is due to me doing school work 24/7.

I also have chronic migraines and have been at doctor's appointments all week, and I even got a lumbar puncture yesterday, so I have a hard time focusing for long periods of time. I'm trying to get everything done, but my mental health is also sucky, and quarantine definitely doesn't help that. I find myself having no time to write, even though I love it.
