Minho's P.O.V
"Lee Min-Ji! I swear to god if you sass me one more time, I will make sure you don't have any fun at daycare today!" I told my daughter after she had criticized my driving for the 12th time. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms while her little brother giggled at our exchange.
"Appa is angyyy!" Min-Jun teased in a sing song voice, following it up with a giggle. I smiled at him in the rearview mirror and he was just kicking his legs happily, playing with one of his toy horses.
"Okay munchkins," I said to get my kids attention, waiting until they were listening to continue. "You both had better be one your best behavior." I said looking at both of my hooligans in the backseat. "And Junnie, don't forget to ask when you need to go potty, okay? If you're too shy then you can ask you big sister for help." I told him and he nodded, not seeming like he really comprehended my words.
"I know you'll be good, but just keep an eye out for Min-Jun, got it?" I said to Min-Ji as we pulled into the driveway of the small house with a sign in front of it. I parked and then turned around to make eye contact with my beautiful kid, making sure she understood how serious I was.
"Of course, Appa, I already know that." She said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I let out a noise halfway between a laugh and a sigh before unbuckling my seatbelt and opening the door of my car.
"Grab your bag, JiJi!" I reminded her, not looking at her. She then cleared her throat and I scoffed at her sassy pose. She had one hand on her hip and the other one holding out her leather bag like it was stupid for me to even think she would forget. "Okay, okay..." I said, holding my hands up in surrender and then opening the door to get Min-Jun out of the car.
He reached out his arms and I thought it was to hug me, but then he trotted his toy horse across my head. "Ouch!" I said, moving away from him and then hitting my head on the roof of the car. Min-Jun giggled and my other child covered her small, yet big, mouth to suppress laughs of her own.
I glared at my son but not for long, because then he used his cuteness to his advantage. "All better!" He said after kissing me sloppily on the middle of my forehead. A huge smile took over my face and and Min-Jun started to clap, celebrating my change in mood.
I sighed loudly, shaking my head as I got my toddler out of the car and set him on the ground. I held his tiny and squishy hand in mine, knowing that he would make a run for it if I didn't, and got his diaper bag out of the car. After that I signaled for Min-Ji to follow me and started walking with Min-Jun up to the front door.
I was about to knock, but Min-Ji beat me to it, sticking her tongue out at me to emphasize her victory over me. I rolled my eyes at her and we waited for someone to answer the door. "Coming!" Said a seemingly male voice from inside the small house.
The door opened and a man with adorably chubby cheeks and gorgeous sparkly eyes opened the door. I was completely in awe of his adorableness and that only increased when my intense staring made him blush and get all shy. Min-Ji glanced from him to me and then glared at me in annoyance before clearing her throat.
"Hello, I'm Min-Ji, that's my brother Min-Jun and that weirdo staring at you is our dad, Minho." She said and then kicked me to snap me out of my daze. It worked and I nodded my head at the man who resembled a squirrel in an extremely cute way.
"My name is Han Jisung, and I am the co-owner of this business." He said in a jokingly professional and monotone way. He reached out and shook Min-Ji's hand, sending me an amused wink as he did so. "Why don't you come on in, and I can give you a tour when my roommate comes back from giving a different family a tour."
Jisung gestured for us to come inside his house and Min-Jun squealed when he saw all the toys. He snatched his hand away from mine and rushed to play with the tiny horse stable. Jisung let out a laugh at my son's behavior and we both watched as Min-Ji walked over to the only other kid in the room and began to introduce herself very formally. The boy seemed to be about the same age as her, and was dressed in a very fashionable outfit, his dark curls styled meticulously.
"You're back, finally!" Jisung groaned to the striking man who had entered the room with a curly haired baby in his arms and a man with hair just like the two other kids here trailing behind him. The man holding the baby rolled his eyes and set the baby down on the carpet. The baby immediately started to shriek like her life depended on it, so the man picked her back up quickly.
The adorable baby's cries stopped as soon as she was back in the man's fluffy sweater covered arms. I took the chance to examine the other man I was entrusting my kids with and noticed two things. The first thing was that where Jisung's features were all soft and gentle, the other guy's were sharp and precise, making him look like he was carved from ice. The second thing I noticed was how the man, who I presumed was the father of the two kids, looked at the pink wearing man, which didn't seem like it was a very professional way to look at someone.
