Jeongin's P.O.V
"Get the hell up, you sad excuse for a squirrel!" I yelled at my short hyung, causing him to roll over with his stuffed animal in hand and mumble something about Americanos. I rolled my eyes and gripped the end of his comforter, yanking it off of him mercilessly.
As soon as the blanket was off of him, I screamed at the sight underneath. He was completely naked, and was covered in hickeys, no doubt from one of his hookups. I slapped my hand over my eyes as Jisung sat up with some grumbling.
"Aish!" I yelled at him, still covering my eyes. "Put some clothes on! I do not need to see that." I told him with sassiness dripping from my voice.
"Well, you wouldn't have had to see me if you hadn't ripped my clothes off like an evil rat!" Jisung said, his voice equally as sassy.
"Whatever!" I said in exasperation, chucking the blanket at him. "Just get up and get ready. We have two new families coming today, and they definitely do not need to see you like that!" I told him, walking out to the kitchen to make food.
I whipped up some kimchi pancakes and a few side dishes. Jisung emerged from the bathroom tight as I was setting the table. "Wow, you really are good at arriving right after all the work had been done for you!" I told him, my voice full of annoyance.
"I know right?" Jisung said, a smug smile on his face. He sat down and started eating, making me roll my eyes. "Fanks or gooking!" He said with his mouth full of food, definitely not seeming very thankful.
I rolled my eyes again and began to follow my roommates lead in eating. We both ate in a comfortable silence, having spent all our time together and having nothing to catch up about. "You're cleaning up after breakfast." I told Jisung after I had cleared my plate.
Jisung laughed and nodded, still shoveling food into his mouth. I shook my head at him with a faint smile on his face. I knew that he was eating a ton now, since we didn't always have time to eat during our chaotic days. I walked down the hall to the shower, already feeling like today was going to be insane.
I reached out and adjusted the the nobs on our shower. After I got the water adjusted to the only spot where the hot water wasn't scorching or freezing. Then I stripped my pajamas off, sticking my hand into the shower stream to check if the temperature was right.
It finally was, so I hopped in, shivering at the change in temperature. I ran my hand through my now wet hair, moving it out of my face. Letting the warm water hit my face, I made the decision to stay in the shower as long as possible. Jisung could handle the preperation for the day on his own, and I deserved a break from always being the one to do it.
I took my own sweet time washing my hair and body, enjoying my break from my obnoxious friend. Don't get me wrong, I love the heck out of that squirrel, but he can get on my nerves sometimes. And it tended to happen a lot, due to the fact that we lived and worked together. The only time I got away from him was when he was out hooking up with some random dude.
"Jeongin! Get your tiny ass out here!" Jisung yelled from the living room, probably realizing that I was avoiding helping him. I groaned and shut off the water, pushing the curtain aside and climbing out of the shower reluctantly. "JEONGIN!" Jisung hyung screamed again and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm coming, you idiot!" I replied, putting the towel around myself like a dress. I picked up my clothes, planning to drop them off in the laundry room on my way to Jisung. I walked down the hall and threw my clothes in the hamper, wishing I had an excuse to not go and help Jisung.
"What do you want?" I asked Jisung, holding my towel on, trying to protect myself from the cold air of the other rooms. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow skeptically before shaking his head dismissively and addressing me.
"I want you to help me." Jisung whined, pouting and trying to use puppy eyes. I shook my head at my roommate and his pout was replaced with a scowl. "Will you at least tell me where you keep the new client paperwork?" He said, crossing his arms and looking very irritated.
"It's in the file cabinet in my office." I told Jisung and he nodded. I rolled my eyes at how oblivious he was to all of the paperwork and business things that I did for our daycare center. "Second drawer, 5th tab from the front." I told him and he nodded.
I walked down the hall to my room to put clothes on, but couldn't decide what to wear. I looked through all of my clothes with a frustrated frown on my face, none of them catching my eye. That was until I found my fluffy pink sweater. My frown dissapeared and a squeal escaped my lips, as I snatched the sweater up and then grabbed some white jeans to go with.
"Jeonginnie, one of our new clients is here!" Jisung shouted, and I hurriedly pulled on my clothes. I opened my bedroom door and the sound of a baby wailing got louder and louder as I walked down the hall. As soon as I got into the living room, my eyes met those of something much better than what I had been expecting.
