Which is Worse? Dorms or Being Grounded?

(A/N: Hey guys sorry this took so long, I was going to publish this a LONG time ago, but due to a mom-taking-my-computer indecent, my time balance was thrown off schedule.)

???'s POV

"Welcome, students, to Curiosity High!"

Everyone was now off the boat and standing in front of an extremely tall building. It had cream colored bricks and a tower-like ceiling that probably held more floors.

Wu began walking toward the front gates. When we got there, I noticed a HUGE banner that read, "WELCOME STUDENTS!!" We continued to follow the old man inside the building.

My eyes and thoughts began to wander as I looked around. We seemed to be on a mountain of some sort, far away from land and humans. I wonder why we were brought here? And if this is a school, then where are the other students besides us?

I had completely zoned out and when I finally came too, I realized we were in some sort of office at the front of the school.

"Alright, listen up." Wu said, gaining our attention, "You all will be assigned dorms for this year. Based on who and what you are, this should keep all drama and fighting to a limit. Now before I tell you who your roommates are, I'd like you all to meet my son, Morro."

A tall guy with black and green hair walked in from around the corner. He stood next to Wu and immediately pulled out his phone.

"Alright, here are your room numbers." A piece of paper appeared in our hands. "The girls are on the right and guys on the left. Now go. If you have any problems with your DORM, not your roommate, then-"

"WAIT!!"

Quickly turning around, I see this sweaty girl run in at full speed.

"Ah, Akita. So nice to see you. I'm glad you made it! Here's your dorm room." Wu told her. She took the paper and walked off.

I looked at my sister. She gave me that calm-down-I'll-be-fine look. I rolled my eyes, hugged her, and went on my way.

Before I could look for my dorm, though, I heard her yell, "KAI! DON'T GET INTO ANY FIGHTS!!"

I smiled to myself.

Yeah right.

Nya's POV

Dorm 2, Dorm 4, Ah-ha! Dorm 6!

I opened the door and was greeted with a familiar, fang-filled smile.

"SELIEL?!" I yelled

She responded with a "hey Nya!"

"I didn't know you'd be here!" I smiled

"The same can be said about you!"

We talked for a while and I was really happy. Who knew I'd have a friend here who's my roommate, too!

After an hour or two of talking and unpacking, everyone was called to the front office.

Lloyd's POV

I solemnly walked around in my room, head down. Why didn't I capture her?! She was right there! One blade to her skin and BAM! I wouldn't be grounded. But NOOO! My dragon side just HAD to take over.

I thought long and hard about this. It was to the point where I was looking for a time travel spell to fix it. Before I could find it though, a soft voice called my name.

"Lloyd?"

I looked over and saw my girlfriend standing in the doorway, a concerned look plastered on her face.

I closed my spell book and sat on my bed. I then patted the seat next to me, signalling for her to sit down. Thankfully, her smile reappeared and she sat down alongside me. She kissed me on the cheek and rested her head on my shoulder.

"How was your day, beautiful?" I asked her

She sighed, "Same as always; practice my 'future queen speech', work on photo shoots, eat lunch, have a few interviews, and then- if I somehow have time- come see you."

"Sounds like you aren't a fan?"

"Not. At. ALL. Though I do enjoy coming to see you."

I smiled and stood up, grabbing my girlfriend's hand and taking her with me.

"Lloyd, where are we going?" she asked

"You'll see"

I led her outside and into the middle of the yard. Then, I ran back inside and got camping chairs, along with blankets and our phones.

The rest of the night was pretty slow and quiet, which I enjoyed. We watched the stars and even tried to count them. Then we watched a movie on my phone before drifting off to sleep.

TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING

I woke up and slowly looked around. I suddenly realized that my girlfriend was missing! Quickly pulling out my phone, I begin texting her.

I let out a relieved sigh and smiled. At least she was safe. But why didn't she wake me up? I would've been happy to take her home.

Whatever the reason, I shrugged it off and headed back inside. When I got to my room, I grabbed a photo off of my dresser and looked at it for a while. Sighing, I set it down again and thought about how little time we have together. I honestly felt bad for her.

Poor Harumi.
