Secret Admirer

Chaewon is happily walking in the hallway of their school, greeting her schoolmates a good morning with a genuine smile.

She's excited to attend class knowing that she'll receive another gift from her secret admirer.

It's been six months since her secret admirer started giving her gifts, letters and flowers.

And she loves it...

Her secret admirer really know her well, from her favourite flower, favourite food, subject, flavour, pet and the very smallest things about her.

Chaewon is not scared of this secret admirer of hers even though it knew her well, her secret admirer never acts like some stalkers, so Chaewon can't help but to smile and feels safe knowing that her admirer knows her boundaries.

Yes...it's a she.

Her secret admirer is a girl.

She admitted it four months ago through her letter to Chaewon...and she likes it that her admirer is being honest.

She arrived at her classroom and was greeted by her annoying duck best friend.

"Good morning, ducky." she greeted back and sat beside her best friend who by the way has a name Choi Yena.

Chaewon and Yena met when they were still seven years old and turns out that they're living in the same village so they became the best of friends. But for Chaewon, she has this feeling of being contented just Yena by her side.

Whenever her ducky smiles, it melts her heart.

Whenever she saw her ducky with someone, she feels sad and down.

But, there's this feeling she likes...

It's when her ducky held her hand like it was the most precious thing she had...like it was the best thing she ever had. Chaewon loves that idea but...she knows that Yena was just being sweet and being her best friend all the time.

Sometimes Yena annoyed her by throwing some lame jokes and made fun of her but in other side, she loves it.

She loves it when Yena's attention is on her, when Yena's focus is on their friendship.

Friendship...

Sometimes that word is making her sad,

the truth that Yena and her were just best friends, nothing more and nothing less.

"By the way, I saw this earlier when I was opening our room...Gosh, when will that secret admirer of yours stop? Can't she just spill it to your freaking face that she loves you? Can't she just show her fucking face in front of you?" Yena said as she handed Chaewon a mint-coloured box with a yellow ribbon on it.

"Aishhh, can you please stop? And don't curse, we're not alone here...and lastly, how'd you say she loves me?" Chaewon retorted as she rolled her eyes at Yena.

"Oh c'mon! That's obvious, will someone woke up that early just to prepare lunch box for you?" Yena asked, talking about Chaewon's admirer that gave her lunch box twice a week.

"Well...ahm.. back then when we're in middle school, we always woke up early just to prepare each other a sandwich." Chaewon answered.

"Urgh! It's normal, we're like sisters."
