[Year 2009]

One young girl was crying at the bench in the park near their house.

Alone...

Ever since she started schooling, she never had someone.

Or should we say...

She never had someone to call as her 'friend' . And by the way, she's crying because there was two girls who's older than her took the sandwich her Mom prepared.

She can't do anything cause the two were much taller than her and she don't know how to fight...

The little girl looked up at the sky, her innocent mind thought on how cotton candies hanging up there. With the thought of foods, she cried again and brought her knees in her chest.

Everyday that comes, she always get bullied. Taking her foods, locking her in a scary room, alone, and making fun of her.

And for her...

It's now normal. She's used to it now and yet she's not telling anyone.

She cries and cries until you can only hear her sobs. But then, something cold touched her right arm. She looked up and saw a girl smiling at her while handling her something.

She looks at it and saw a ice cream in a cup. Just seeing an ice cream melts every childrens eyes, they'll do everything just to take it.

On the other side, the girl is afraid that the other girl standing in front of her might hurt her and bully her like those girls.

"W-what d-do you...w-want" she asked as she sat up properly.

"Uhm...nothing. I just saw you crying and here....I bought you ice cream!" the other girl happily exclaimed.

"My big brother said, if someone is crying or feeling sad...give them ice cream or any sweets to make them feel better. Here take it..." she added and sat beside the girl who just cried.

The girl looked at her like a scared kitten who got abandoned. She feels happy yet afraid to this girl who's giving her something, she's afraid...

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you" the girl reassured. "M-my mom said, do not t-talk to strangers." she replied as she moved a little to distance herself.

"My mom said that too...I'm Choi Yena and I'm 10 years old!" this Yena introduced herself as she lend her hand for a handshake.

The other girl hesitated but nonetheless took Yena's hand and shakes it. "I-im Kim Chaewon and I'm nine."

"Now we're not strangers! Hehe, here take this." the older said as she opened the ice cream and give it to the younger girl.

The younger finally felt comfortable at her and happily took the ice cream. The older smiled as she saw Chaewon eating it happily.

'Uwu...she's so cute!'  Yena thought.

"Chae, why did you cried?" Yena asked.

"I got bullied, again. And they took my sandwich." Chaewon said and pouted.

"Oh no! That's so sad! If that happens to me, I'll definitely cry til midnight" the older replied as she cutely stomped her feet. Chaewon giggles at her action, she never had someone like Yena before. If it is possible...Yena will be her first ever friend.

"Don't worry, Wonnie! Starting today, you won't get bully again and no one will make you cry especially when you're with me." Yena said.

Chaewon giggles again as she keeps on hearing the older giving her nicknames. The younger got confused about the words that came out from the older earlier, she doesn't know what was that supposed to mean.
