The beautiful alarm tone ringing woke up the girl with a comfy and thick blanket all over her body. She lazily sat in her bed as she rubs her eyes cutely.

She let out a soft giggle when she saw a bird desperately knocking it's beak at her window with a thick layer of snow. It's nearly Christmas. She's so excited, all of her days in December are so precious. Five days before Christmas, it's the 20th of the month and of course, it's all feels so new to her.

Everything that happened in this year was all so memorable for her. Everything of it.

"Chaewonnie~ are you awake now? Well, I think you are... Get your lazy ass up there and buy the things I said last night, okay? I'm waiting...hehe, well I'm always waiting for you. I love you , Chae!" Said by the voicemail in her phone.

Just by listening to that voice made her day already complete. And the owner of that voice was the best to complete her day.

It will always.

"I love you more, Yena...and you know that too."

She prepared herself, eat breakfast, and made a quick clean up in the house like Yena always do and reminds. Feeling herself a little late, she quickly dashed off the house and hopped on her car before driving away.

"Don't drive fast you little!"

"Aishh! I can hear your voice, Yena!" Chaewon chuckled but then took a slow drive as she stepped on the engine.

Chaewon smiled as she saw the shop. It was Yena's favorite pastry place.

As she entered the said place, a staff greeted her while wiping the used table, she politely gave it back and went to the counter.

"I box of macaroons please." Chaewon ordered while tapping her fingers at the counter top.

"The assorted one, like always... would you like us to wrap it up in a fabric or just in a box?" The female assistant asked her.

Smiling at the thought, she just chose to wrap it in the box. The smell of the pastries roamed around shop, freshly baked muffins gave Chaewon a gentle smile. It was the ones Yena recommended as they went out on date for the first time.

She went back on driving when she took the macaroons and placed it at the backseat. The smell of it made her so excited to see Yena. She's a hundred percent sure that the duck will love it.

"I'll definitely will"

"Yena, I really did learned playing guitar, you know? Hahaha, I'll sing you a song while playing it later, promise." Chaewon uttered, the streets are now filled with Christmas lights and the shop's jukebox were playing many Christmas songs. Those things will always leave her a bitter taste.

A bitter sweet taste.

Chaewon looked at the rearview mirror, or should I say...the picture pasted on it.

It's a worn out first ever picture of her and Yena back then when they're in highschool. The smiles from the both of them cannot be paid of anything. Yena's warm hugs at the season of snow is always the best. Chaewon needs her warm hugs and sweet kisses at times like this.

These days, these past few days... Chaewon was finding it. Everytime when December comes, she always wish to feel those things.

But then again, she always wish to let things happen just like they planned to. Just like they wished to.

"Chaewon...do you know how lucky I am to have you?"

Chaewon looked at the road, the trees are covered in snow, the shops are getting less costumers because of the weather and the adds at some post are saying to always wear a thick jacket or sweater.
