Douglas scraped the mud off his hands, and kept digging. Patrick had said it was here, so, it had to be! But for four hours, nothing had shown up, and Douglas was losing faith, when, aha! There it was!
He looked around to see who was looking, then pulled out the box. It was small, wooden, but on the front, a golden eagle was nailed on, but Douglas couldn't figure out why. He opened it, and a little slip of paper lay inside. Really? All this work for a piece of paper? Turning it over, he discovered three words were written upon it. YOUR WAY OUT, he read. Douglas quickly threw the paper back in the box and ran towards Patrick back by the Huts. What did this mean? Was it time to leave?
