Kayla's P.O.V
"Morning Reid" I said gently setting a coffee on his desk. He looked tired and needed it more then me.
"Is this for me?" he asked.
"Yep." I sat down at my desk blowing the hair out of my face.
"What for." he asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"Uhm, a kind gesture I don't know." I said.
"Oh. Thank you." he said.
"There's no sugar in it, by the way. Your gonna need some." I said.
He smiled and walked to the kitchen stirring his coffee cup.
The day was filled with paperwork. About 20 minute before the day ended, Morgan came to my desk with J.J, Emily, and Garcia.
"Uhm. hi." I said. Spencer looked up from his book.
"Ok, we don't work tomorrow. What do you say we go out for drinks? Welcome you to the team." Morgan suggested.
"Oh, I don't know. Im not a big drinker." I said. I really was never into drinking. I have my reasons.
"You don't have to drink. Reid doesn't." Emily said.
"Oh alright why not." I agreed.
They all smiled and cheered. I grabbed my coat and walked out with J.J and Emily. Emily offered to drive us.
When we go to the bar, the boys had already grabbed a table. I sat down with the girls next to Spencer. He smiled at me and blushed a little.
"Hello lovelys. Sorry I am late. Can I squeeze in next to you new girl?" Garcia said approaching the table. "I need a break from morgan" she teased.
"Who doesn't." Reid said.
"Oh funny guy, huh?" Morgan asked.
"Oh I wasn't trying to be funny. Simply asking a question, considering we all get tired of you." Reid said. I really couldn't tell if he was trying to joke around or not.
"Mhm. I think we can all agree we looooveee your fact spitting Reid." Emily said.
We all laughed while Reid turned red. I patted him on the shoulder.
"I find your facts interesting Spencer." I said.
"That's gotta be a first" J.J said.
"What can I say, I'm a nerd. Especially when it comes to trivia." I joked.
The team exchanged laughs and I scooted over for Garcia to sit down. The table was a little tight. I was basically on top of Spencer. My leg pushed on his and our sides pushed together as well.
We all talked and laughed. The team got more and more tipsy but Reid and I sipped on our waters.
At one point Reid went to put his hand on his leg but he touched mine. I shifted at the feeling of his hand on my upper thigh. It took him a second to notice.
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry that was an accident" He said pulling his hand of my leg.
"It's fine don't worry about it. We're all sitting pretty close." I said. He just smiled.
"Ok enough is enough. Spencer and Gracie, drink something other then water." Morgan said.
The team all agreed.
"I wouldn't even know what to order." I said trying to get out of the situation.
"Me either. I don't think this is the type of place to drink wine." Reid said.
