After some weeks of going to the studio, my singing has improved so much. Sometimes uncle Taehyung or Jimin come by and help me, they also make it so much fun and exciting to record.
I was having my lunch after I finished doing voice practicing. I checked my phone to see the time but an email from JYP and YG Entertainment appeared. I didn't hesitate to open the email, the first email was from JYP

Unfortunately, we saw your profile and saw that Korean isn't your first language, all K-pop idols must learn or be able to speak Korean so if you want to take this opportunity you will have to learn Korean by September, and then we can accept you otherwise you would have to look for a different company

Oh no another problem I have to face. I know some words in Korean but I rarely speak it. My eomma was born in the States then came to Korea during her university years, she fell in love with the country and stayed here. When she had me she spoke little Korean but Appa only spoke to me Korean, he spoke English because of my eomma. Eomma knew some but she never spoke to me in Korean because she was so used to speaking English, it was easier for her to speak English since it was her first language. Everyone from my eomma's family is Americans in from my appa's are Korean so technically I'm half American half Korean. I don't know where to even begin to learn, obviously the basics of course but I only have two months to be able to almost fluently speak. YG Entertainment had written me the same thing, it's required to know Korean, if I don't take this chance September was coming and I need to get accepted to some company before school starts. The other companies that Jeonsan helped me sign in were fine but they didn't have all the things that I wanted to learn, but JYP and YG Entertainment have them. Learning Korean would take up most of my summer plus I'm already working at the senior center and that's already a big job, but if I'm willing to make this happen I have I need to put in the effort. I see Manager PD come into the studio
"Okay guys lunch is over, let's get back to work" he announces
I packed my lunch case into my bag and proceed to the recording room. I am almost done with the song. We just need to finish the background vocals and then the song is complete, hopefully, that gets done so that I can focus on studying

The summer flew by so fast this week it's the first day of school I haven't seen Seokso or Taehwan for a while, we did video chat and texted but we were so busy during the summer we didn't have time to hang out. Seokso is taking his Gap year so if he doesn't have to worry about school, he still has a job as the waiter but he still trying to find the right school to go, even though he comes from a rich family uncle Jin wants him to experience having a normal teenage life. Taehwan is still in classes with me which is I'm so happy because I don't know anyone other than him. New people might join so maybe this could be my opportunity to make new friends. The journey on my missing piece might lead me to an open door, it's a new beginning a fresh and a fresh start so I will think positively, just like uncle J-hope, he always has a smile on his face and brightens people's day. For the past 2 months, I've been working my butt in learning Korean, I've got some help from the senior center too which was so helpful, now when I watch a movie in Korean I fluently understand. I was so excited to show off my talent to the companies, for sure they're going to let me in.
