It was pomp and show in the divine city of dwarka. After all the stars of the city didn't shine for a very long time now it was their time to come back and shine on, dwarka was a kingdom of the common people, the dwarkans, who treated the royals like their own, bestowed upon so much love and why not it's the city of Shri Krishna himself. Their joy knew no bounds, their paalanhaar was coming back to them.
It was more than two weeks, that dwarka wasn't graced by the divine yadav siblings' presence now it was time. The city went bonkers, it looked and felt heavenly, and it had to for it was the vaikuntha of the Earth.
"Our, children are coming back Arya, my heart ached for them, I feel delighted" Rohini exclaimed in happiness.
"Haha! Yes Rohini, no matter how old our children grow, they are always the little pieces of our heart, and the Apple of our eyes, right, am I Devaki? " Vasudev said.
"Absolutely arya, I keep wondering the day our girls get married what will we do" Devaki said, with a tinge of sadness.
"Don't worry, Devaki I couldn't give you and Rohini a very happy marriage but trust me My daughters will have the happiest marriage" Vasudev said with disappointed.
"No arya, it was our fate all of us and you had to equally suffer for it, not like we had a choice it was destiny" Devaki said, with a wincing expression.
"And arya, god forbid if our daughters have a hapless marriage, then it will be their destiny we have nothing to do about that, but don't worry have faith in Narayan, he will keep our daughters happy" Rohini said assuring.
"Oh, this reminds me, where are the other two daughters of this family, I'm sure they are looking after all the preparations with sheer joy, immersing hemselves in work, and take it form me In writing both of them must have skipped their meals" Vasudev said.
"Yeah, yeah I'll go check upon them, Devaki you stay with Arya I will go see" Rohini left.
"Devaki, you also go I will have to leave with Satyaki he will be here anytime soon, for a round in the market, regarding some new trade issues, you'll be left all alone here, go and sit with them" Vasudev was extra cautious about devaki, that lady, the warrior lady she was she's been through so much in life that he now wanted go protect her at all costs.
"Arya, don't worry but for your assurance I'll go sit with jiji and all" Devaki walked out of the room smiling.
"So, girls ready are we?" Rohini walked in, seeing shimmers around felt a happiness creep around her heart.
"Yes, Mataa almost ready, where is Choti maa" Revati asked.
"Devaki is with arya, okay, first tell me did you eat? And where is the other one" Rohinis questions seemed unending.
"Maata calm down, Rukmini has gone to her chamber she needs to decorate and set kanha's swing, and and both of us haven't eaten as soon as rukmini comes we'll go eat, you don't worry" Revati assured Rohini.
"Hmm, so who's not eaten I don't want all this okay I will not accept it any cost, both of these girls always run behind those boys and do everything for them and their family and literally forget about themselves" Devaki said as she entered the chamber with fake disappointment.
"Haina Devaki, I don't even know what did our sons do deserve such divine wives" Rohini added.
"Choti Maa, this is our family too, and if we don't serve our family who will, are we not your daughters" Revati said.
