Hello!
I'm Aubry,
I know, you're only reading this because you know me already,
In that case shut up- errr I mean
Thanks for reading..?
*cough*No seriously though, thanks!
So I know there's currently only two pictures of the characters in the book,
Amelia on the cover and Princess Cass in chapter 4.But if you want to see the drawings and the character ref sheets of the characters, look on aubrythstrwbrry.deviantart.com !
I should have the characters posted there and the credits if someone else designed them.
Wwwwhich most of them are designed by other people. All the more reason why I encourage you to hop over there!Secondly a lot of the things in this book were inspired by myths and legends, for example did you notice Aropeia (The Kingdom) is based off the zodiac symbol Aries?
Princess Cassiopeia is a ram and their main export is diamonds! And their Neighboring kingdom, Caprideia is based off of Capricorn, their main export being fish and gold, although the gold was just added for the stories sake.
The "Flying snake on Fire" is a Brazilian legend, and Cass is technically based off of Queen Cassiopeia, A constellation god of a beautiful and vain Queen. However her story is that her father named her after The Mythical queen to ensure she had beauty and be an amazing queen, If you ask me it worked but she doesn't think so.
Thirdly, I plan to turn this story into a manga, wether or not I'll actually do it I'm not sure.
And lastly, Here's a little insight to other characters stories.
Aaron and Cherry got married, But were never able to have kids.
But they still lived a happy life taking care of the children at a daycare. The little boy, or the burning snake,
Was a small boy who's mother died. His dad made him a magic candle wick out of the lantern his mother had. When he lit this wick he never wanted to put it out, his father said that as long as he kept his fire lit he could help everyone. But moths kept flying around him, his mother loved moths but he hates them, and one day he killed one, and he angered a horrible which that lived secretly in the woods behind them. She was so angry that with her powers she turned him into a snake, a monster that cared for nothing more than hurting the moths that came to his flame.
And when he was turned back his father had been waiting for him, and forgave him for everything. He was ten years older than before, making him fifteen.
Darla was lovingly buried with her bow next to her gryphon,
I plan on making her story from before we meet her in this story but I haven't done it yet(obviously). And honestly Amelia is- more or less, me. So I don't have an insight to her story!
And that's about all. Hope you enjoyed the ride <3
