With a safecracker, a stick-up man, and a getaway driver for the job, Tommy had everything he needed to complete the heist. He had rounded the three in a circle sitting in chairs as he showed them the diagrams of the bank's map. The song "Freaks Come Out At Night" by Whodini was playing in the club.
"As you can see, gentlemen, this is going to be the easiest buck we ever made," Tommy announced.
"Tommy, seriously, you gotta consider going into law," Ken chimed in, trying to join in on the conversation.
Phil then hopped out of his seat. "What the hell are you smoking, man?" he asked Tommy. "This ain't no simple plan!" Phil took about three seconds to think right before he simply shrugged it off. "Well, who needs a simple plan anyway?" Phil finally blurted out. "Take communism, now that was a simple plan. Didn't do Russia any favors, huh?"
"Calm down, all right?" Tommy ordered. "With a team like this it's going to be no problem. We got Cam on safe. Phil? You and me will handle security, and Hilary'll drive the getaway car."
"Uh, heh heh, aren't you forgetting somebody?" Ken told Tommy frantically, really eager to join in on the heist. "Somebody who helped you to no end in this town? Somebody who... "
"Ken... Ken, that's right," Tommy replied, resting a hand over the lawyer's shoulder. "Ken here, he washes the money for us and he keeps the drinks on ice."
Everybody in the room just burst out laughing, and Ken just took a seat in his chair.
"I don't understand what I am supposed to be doing here," Hilary told Tommy.
"Look, it's easy," Tommy responded, "as long as everyone follows the plan. Haven't you ever seen a movie? Now of course, we're gonna need to use pseudonyms in order to cover our identities. So we walk into the bank, we wave the gun around, and leave very rich men."
The others then started agreeing with the plan right before Tommy held his hands up front to silence them. "Now we have to stay focused," Tommy instructed as he motioned to the diagram of the bank and used the pointer to point out the details. "Okay, now here's what we're going to do... "
The foursome walked outside through the exit. "I'll drive," Tommy informed as he hopped inside a taxi cab outside.
"Great," Hilary cheered silently. "A passenger. Wait 'til I tell the group about this."
Phil took the passenger's seat, and Hilary and Cam took the backseat as well.
Tommy started the engine and began driving down the road leading to Vice Point.
"Tommy, Hilary's taking up too much room!" Cam complained to Tommy as the former was shoving Hilary to the side.
"I am not!" Hilary protested, shoving Cam back.
"Are too!" Cam argued back, returning the shove himself.
"Hey, shut up you two, or you can get out and walk," Tommy scolded them both.
"Yeah, HILARY!" Cam told Hilary.
Tommy took a left turn on the road through the Leaf Links and took the long bridge leading to Little Haiti, where Tommy took a left turn on the road and another left leading to the long road, where Tommy made a right turn.
"For god's sake, Phil, stop waving that thing around," Tommy scolded Phil, who was waving his pistol around his head.
"The car's ruined!" Hilary cried out randomly. "RUINED!"
"You cling to an illusion of permanence," Cam told Hilary.
"What?" Hilary asked.
"You think all things will last," Cam tried to convince. "Youth, loved ones, pizza, all will pass or end and you must accept that."
