After the hours elapsed, it was now 10:30 PM, and no one at the club still felt tired. Everyone was having a great time playing arcade games, dancing to the music, and watching the game on television. The song "My Adidas" by Run DMC was playing in the background. Tommy even had to spend more time with Mercedes. Right now, Lance was playing an arcade game called Degenatron. It was an arcade game in which the player had to

Avery, Ken, Umberto, Phil, and Mitch were all circled around Lance cheering him on as the latter continued mashing buttons on the arcade game. "OOHHHHHHHHHH!" they all shouted as Lance's game came to an end.

"You almost had it!" Umberto said.

"Hey, I still got the highest score in the game after all," Lance reminded. "So it don't matter right now. I'm gonna put my name in so everyone can recognize me as the scoring champion of this arcade game!"

Lance then started putting his name right next to the high score on the side. He had topped everyone who had played the game in the past, and he was beating them all by a landslide, even the person who came in second place.

"Now everyone will know that I, Lance Vance, am the scoring champion at first glace!" Lance boasted. "Now it's time to celebrate with a victorious Lance Vance Dance!"

Lance then stepped back from the arcade game and did his infamous Lance Vance Dance in front of everyone, who all cheered for his victory. Tommy then stepped in to see what the commotion was about. He was outside with Mercedes for a while and had returned just in time to watch Lance perform his dance.

"Let me guess, arcade victory dance, huh?" Tommy surmised.

"Lance got the highest score in the Degenatron game!" Umberto told Tommy.

"Yeah!" Ken added talking rapidly once again. "Theguyissogoodatthisgametommy! Youshouldhaveseenhim! Hewasjustlosinghismind! Weallwereheretowatchhimscorethehighestpointsinthearcadegame! He! Is! Number! One! Tommy! Youhearme?! Number! One!"

Ken then started grabbing Tommy's shirt tightly as he finished his sentences. "Yougottagivethisgameatrytommy! Youjustgotta! Youjustgotta! Youjustgotta! Youjustgot- "

"Ken, shut up!" Tommy shouted, sounding very annoyed. "Let go of my shirt and move out of the way!"

Ken complied and released Tommy's shirt to step aside. Tommy then walked up to the arcade machine. "So this is the game you got a high score on, Lance?" he asked Lance.

"Indeed," Lance replied. "I'm the champion at the game! You're free to give it a try if you'd like!"

"Eh, I think I'll pass," Tommy said. "It just seems too childish for my taste."

The others groaned at Tommy's sheer sentence, and Lance was wearing a shocked expression on his face. "Tommy," he told Tommy, "come on now. Is that what you think? Arcade games are only for children?"

"It's not that," Tommy protested. "It's just that I've outgrown video games as of right now and no longer have any interest in the arcades."

The others groaned again at Tommy's sheer sentence. "Tommy," Lance told Tommy, "where's your spirit? You think just because you're an adult, you can't have a little fun? Come on, brother. We run this city now. It's time for us to have a great time and savor this night."

Tommy thought about what Lance said as the others were all pleading for Tommy to heed Lance's words, Then Tommy held up a signal to keep the others silent. "I guess I could have a little fun here for a while," he finally said.

The other subsequently cheered, only for Tommy to cut them off again with a hand signal. "But I'm only going to play an arcade game that's far more challenging," Tommy told them. "A game that fits my style the best."
