Eclipseheart said goodnight to her daughter as she passed her, then she slowly crept into the elder's den. "Good evening, Eclipseheart." Stargazer, one of Eclipseheart's good friends, said as she walked in. "Hello Stargazer. I was hoping you would be awake. I need to talk to you about the last gathering." Stargazer nodded, and she laid down facing him. "At the last gathering, Willowclan of course declared war with Cloudclan." She said, "And Spiderclan is allied with Cloudclan but, we prefer not to spill blood over small things. I'm worried cats will get hurt." Eclipseheart finished, a worried tone in her voice."Ah, my dear Eclipseheart. Do you know what the most important thing is? It is family, but sometimes you don't get enough time with them. Sometimes you need to disobey your leader and not fight. Because life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend. Take your family somewhere safe, don't let them die. For they will if you don't protect them." He finished speaking, Eclipseheart realizing she was shaking. "But, how long would we be gone? And my kits, they are only apprentices. They learn fast, but they've never been outside of the territory. And-and I-" Stargazer cut her off, "Eclipseheart, you know where to go. It's in the territory but, it will be far enough from the clan." She took a deep breath and then nodded. "Goodbye, my friend." was all he said, and then she backed out of the den and went to her nest to sleep.
