~Hiding~

||3rd Person POV||

*Kaede quickly makes it to Rantaro's house but, the police are already there, she hid in the bushes to hear their conversation* "yea, we used their phones to track them" one of the officers stated *Kaede was shocked, she ran up to Rantaro's doorstep only to be grabbed by a cop, they were gripping her arm* "let me go" her tone was cold, the only thing that gave away emotion was her tear stained face "I'm afraid we can't do that ma'am" "why? What did I do?" She waits a minute before speaking again "see? I did nothing, so let me go" she growled "We can't let you in that house" "why not? He's my best friend and I need to see him" her voice cracked "He has the girl" "what girl? OHHH, you mean Himiko? She ran away, she doesn't want to come back, and she has a valid reason, now let me go in there" Kaede was getting fed up at this point "No, the mother says he kidnapped her" that was the breaking point for Kaede *she laughs* "DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE HER? SHES MORE OF A LIAR THAN KOKICHI, Himiko ran away because her mother pulled a gun on her and her boyfriend" *she broke the cops grip, slapped him, and ran for the window* *she climbed through the window and saw Himiko, Kokichi, and Rantaro* "well, I might be getting arrested" *she chuckles at her own joke but then notices that Himiko is crying, she walks over* "It's ok Himiko, we'll get out of this" "T-this is all m-my fault" she cried "N-no it's not Himi" *Kokichi hugs in an attempt to calm her down* *theres a bang on the door* "You guys need to hide" Rantaro stated "Your probably right" *Kokichi grabbed Himiko and found a hiding spot for her, it was a small cabinet* "Hide here, and don't make any noise" "W-What about y-you?" she stuttered out"I'll find a hiding spot" *he says before kissing her and then running off to find a hiding spot* *Kokichi hides and then the door opens, a single officer walks in* "Do you have a permit?" Kaede asked calmly "Yes we do" the officer replied and then began searching the house, starting with the living room "y'know, she shouldn't have to go back, from what I've heard her mother's boyfriend is pretty cruel" she states, taking a page from ouma's book, trying to provoke something anything from the officer *he hesitates*

||Kaede POV||

'Bingo' "I'm not-" he says before correcting himself "I'm sure he's not" "oh? So your the infamous guy who left that bruise on her eye?" "N-No" he stutters out "so I am right?" She asks innocently *he moved on to searching the kitchen* 'crap, I need to distract him, he can't find Himiko, if he does we won't be able to do anything' "sooo, what exactly did Himiko do to cause you to do that?"
