||Himiko POV||

*she opens the door and guess who's standing there? Well, it's the police and they immediately grab here arm* "H-Huh?!?" *Kaede looks towards the door and sees what's going on* "W-WHY ARE THEY HERE?!?" She shouts *Kokichi rushes up to Himiko, trying to help her while she struggles trying to escape the police officers grip* 'I look over and see something that I never thought I'd see, Shuichi, standing next to my mother (if you could even call her that, she's more of a... cruel person who just so happened to give birth to me) wait what's she giving him? A stack of money, Shuichi is giving up his friends for money' *Kokichi sees it too and quickly realizes how this happened, he turns to Shuichi, his eyes brimming with tears but also full of anger*

||3rd Person POV||

"WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THIS?!? ARE YOU HAPPY YOU GREEDY BITCH? I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS, BUT NO YOU WENT AND TRADED US FOR MONEY" "Kokichi I-" Shuichi tried to speak but it's Kaede's turn to get angry now "SHUICHI WHATS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY? WHAT MADE YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?" *Shuichi flinches at Kaede's outburst* "I-I-" he tries to explain but she cuts him off "no, I don't wanna hear it, there's no excuse for this" *Kaede growls before she goes over and attempts to help Kokichi break Himiko free, they finally break the officers grip long enough for Himiko to run, Kokichi quickly follows her, Kaede takes a step, about to go after them, but then she turns on her heel and looks Shuichi dead in the eye, his eyes look hopeful, as if he thinks she's going to forgive him* "we're through" her voice is cold, as if she doesn't even want to acknowledge his existence *She sees Shuichi's eyes brimming with tears but she doesn't care, and then she runs after Himiko and Kokichi, quickly catching up* "lets go to Rantaro's house, he's our best bet, Kirumi is probably working, Miu is probably inventing and she can never hear anything over her power tools, Angie is at an art gallery, she texted me earlier, Tenko is at her dojo teaching a class, she invited me to come but I declined, so pretty much everyone is busy" "ok, Rantaro's house it is" Kokichi says *they all head in that direction, Kaede tells them to go ahead because she wants to go a different way to throw the police off their trail*

||Kaede POV||

'I quickly double back, the police will probably follow me since I stand out more, my outfit is brighter and easier to spot, they'll just assume I'm with Kokichi and Himiko' *She feels her face* 'I'm crying? I'm not surprised, but still... What compelled Shuichi too do that? Did he think it was a good idea? Does he regret it?' "Calm down Kaede, you need to stay aware" she whispers to herself 'I can't calm down I just, I DONT UNDERSTAND' the voice in her head screamed "GOD DAMMIT SHUCHI, WHY?" She shouted through her sobs "I DID IT FOR US" *she hears that shout and looks up to see... him* "HOW THE FUCK IS THAT 'FOR US'??" She screams at him, her tone full of anger and sadness *Shuichi flinches again* "you have no excuse, don't talk to me, I'll never forgive you, you've lost my trust" she says before running off.
