Dimitri halts mid stride and stares at the hand on his arm as though its diseased. The women takes no notice of his reaction. Instead she offers him a coy smile. I crane my neck to see who the women is and isn't surprised to discover the same women from earlier. She did say she was going to get Dimitri to notice her.
As I watch the show enfold in front of me the man from earlier slides next to me. "Guess you missed out on your chance." He whispers in my ear. I physically stop myself from rolling my eyes. Not even close buddy. Just a minor set back.
Dimitri tries to untangle himself from the women's grasp. He glances my way in desperation and I cough trying to cover a laugh. His eyes darken informing me I would pay for my actions later. Can't wait I tell him with my eyes.
"Hey Tray come here." Dimitri waves Tray over.
Tray casually slides in-between Dimitri and the forward women. They must have done this before. "Why hello there." He tells her trying to get her attention off of Dimitri. She attempts to look over Tray's shoulder to be able to watch where Dimitri is heading.
Dimitri continues on his path to me and stops when he's directly in front of me. "Hey."
"Hey yourself." I tell him.
Before Dimitri can say anything more the stranger holds out his hand, "I'm Andy and this is Skylar. I'm trying to convince her to go out with me."
"Is that so." Dimitri's expression turns into one of amusement.
The man continues not picking up on the settle cues around him. "Do you think you could help me with convincing her?"
Dimitri grows tired of the game wraps an arm around me and pulls me toward him. "Sorry bud she's already spoken for." He then kisses me in front of everyone. Marking his claim. Which is more than fine with me.
"Your neglecting your fans." I remind him while poking him on the nose.
"Don't really care."
"Thought you needed to tend to your fans after the concert." I raise an eyebrow. "What changed?"
He glances to my side. Andy. Andy changed his plans. When I run my fingers down his face his eyes return to mine. As my finger cross his lips he nips at them and his eyes darken with promises. A shiver runs down my spine in excitement.
"Maybe you should go to work so we can leave." I tell him.
He lets out a sign. "I hate the fact you're right. Be back soon love. Don't miss me too much." He kisses me one more time before walking away with his signature smile.
"Get a room." Vanessa tells me as she walks over to me.
"We already do."
Ryder comes and stands by us. "I have met my quota for the night. Mind if I hide over here?"
"Not at all." I tell him with a smile. "Not looking for more action?"
He shakes his head. "Not tonight. My demons are all I need to keep me company this evening."
I can detect a sadness in his voice. If I knew Ryder better I would of asked him to elaborate, but since this was the first time I was meeting him prying did not seem like a good idea. Maybe if I got to know him better, but not now.
Ryder engages Vanessa in a conservation and soon my other friends join. I only half listen instead my eyes follow Dimitri around the room.
My prediction was mostly accurate. In the fact that when most of the fans got his autograph and their picture they left. The crowd was quickly thinning. Only a few desperate women remained and a few men who I assume where hoping to leave with said desperate women.
