Abortion?

What the heck did Rozonda mean by that?

This had to be some sort of joke, right?

But it wasn't.

Either way, K-Ci wasn't very happy when he had received these news. No one would have been actually. It just didn't make any sense whatsoever really.

K-Ci didn't exactly know how to process the fact that Rozonda wanted an abortion. Everything seemed too surreal, but that was far off from the truth and he knew that.

In fact, he had just pretty much lowkey stared at her as if she was absolutely crazy or something, giving her one of the dirtiest looks of all time.

"K-Ci? Baby?" She had stared at him deeply in the eyes, his eyes following hers. "You OK?"

Of course he wasn't OK, Rozonda.

He wanted to lash out at you but he didn't know exactly how to do so.

Too late.

"You wanted a dang abortion the whole time and you didn't say anything?!"

"K-Ci..."

"No!" He fumed.

He had never been this annoyed about anything in his entire life, not even when DeVante had told him that him, Dalvin and Jojo had forgotten his birthday the other day because they were so busy.

Which stung really because he had remembered theirs. All of theirs, which was worse.

He was standing right next to the chair now, anger boiling in his blood. He was absolutely furious, and both Rozonda as well as Kayshani had realised this even from a while away.

"I don't get it, if you wanted an abortion the whole time, then why the fudge did you want us to get you pregnant?"

Rozonda didn't say anything to that, just like K-Ci had suspected.

She was absolutely speechless right now.

Because she was embarrassed.

"Well, I'm waiting for an answer! Don't you dare give me silence!"

"I thought I could handle looking after a baby but I couldn't," she cried. "I was just so swamped with work and looking after Kayshani that I don't have time for one, but I didn't realise this until too late. K-Ci you know I didn't mean any harm."

That wasn't the only reason as to why K-Ci was annoyed though.

Because not only did Rozonda not tell him about wanting to abort her soon to come baby.

She had also seriously gone against her own words as well, as in to never keep important secrets away from each other and everything.

Rozonda: I love you so much baby.

K-Ci: I love you too.

Rozonda: I feel bad for not telling you about my insomnia before though.

K-Ci: Nah, don't sweat it. It's personal. You don't have to tell me things that are personal to you.

She had smiled at that, before continuing as she wanted to promise him something apparently.

K-Ci: Yeah, what?

Rozonda: Promise to always tell each other things unless we don't need to?

K-Ci didn't reply to that and now Rozonda here was worried that she had freaked him out or something.

Rozonda: K-Ci? You OK?

K-Ci: Yeah and sure.

That was what they had said to each other about three weeks ago now when there was some serious thunder and lightning going on, and none of them could have slept because of it.

Rozonda had called K-Ci first and they had talked for a relatively long time.

K-Ci was honestly so confused right now, even more so when he had asked her what the name of the baby was going to be.

"Serenity Falls."

"Serenity Falls?" He had repeated, absolutely discombobulated right now as he had slowly crossed his arms and stared at her. "What kinda deadass baby name is that?"

Serenity was fine.

But why add the Falls bit?

It was redundant as hell.

Rozonda had just explained to him that that was the name of this music group that she was a huge fan of... after Jodeci.

As that was the group K-Ci was in right now and everything.

"Why the hell didn't you tell me this?"

"I didn't tell anyone this except Kayshani."

She kind of had to.

Kayshani was her brother.

He had a right to know.

Heck, screw that thought entirely.

K-Ci had a right to know this as well, before today, but he didn't.

But K-Ci didn't want her to say anything else as he was breaking up with her for keeping this a secret, and he meant it.

Rozonda didn't even beg him to stay, because she had respected his decision. She would have broken up with him too assuming he kept an important secret away from her too.

Even worse?

Jodeci was going on tour today and K-Ci was going to let her come with him to stay with Jodeci at his hotel and everything.

But not anymore.

Most definitely not anymore after what had just happened.
