--You Had One Job, K-Ci. One Job

K-Ci did not come back on time, at all.

He had promised the rest of Jodeci that he would have at least come back before their last concert of the day- which had just finished.

It had ended five minute ago now.

Dalvin, Jojo and DeVante had to stall for him, when people had kept on asking him where he was and everything.

Dalvin had told everybody at the concert wanting to know where K-Ci was that he was sick, but that had kind of backfired because apparently someone had seen him with Snoop Dogg about five minutes before the concert.

They had tried talking to K-Ci, wanting to know why he wasn't at his concert right now, but when they were about to do so?

K-Ci and Snoop Dogg had left where they were when said person had seen them, aka Frankie and Benny's.

DeVante had then told them that before their first concert of the day, K-Ci had broken up with his girlfriend Rozonda.

Although when people wanted to know why?

Jodeci had told them that it was personal between K-Ci, and he had had some break up blues since the start of the day.

He had hung out with Snoop Dogg in the first place to get rid of them.

Pissed off wasn't even the right word to describe how the rest of Jodeci were feeling at this specific moment in time.

They felt betrayed.

Unlovable.

Used.

The fact that K-Ci had forgotten to come back for their last concert of the day had showed the rest of them where he had really stood with Jodeci.

Dalvin was ticked off.

"I should have known that K-Ci wouldn't have come back on time," Dalvin raged. "He had one job, man. One job."

Jojo had felt the exact same way as him, and even worse than that, a lot of people realised that they weren't as goo without K-Ci.

Yep, he was most definitely going to Serenity Falls now, Jodeci didn't need feeling twice.

DeVante didn't know what to say to this. He was mad at K-Ci too, but then at the same time, he knew how much he had loved Snoop Dogg.

He had always wanted to meet him in person, and now he had the chance to do so. Jodeci should have been happy for him.

"Whose damn side are you on, DeVante?" Jojo had enquired, shouting at him a little. "And we get that K-Ci's always wanted to be with Snoop Dogg, but not at Jodeci's expense!"

Flipping hell, Jodeci wished that they knew someone as well known as Snoop Dogg right now, but they didn't so they had to live up with that fact.

They couldn't have compared to Serenity Falls- Yeah, they were a hip hop singing and dancing group and Jodeci weren't.

Though they were amazing.

Ten times better than they were-- ten times better than anybody was really.

Jojo was about to say that he had given up on K-Ci for good, and he didn't even want to persuade him to stay at Jodeci anymore because it was very clear that he wanted to go to Serenity Falls instead.

They weren't even jealous.

Were they?

It was rather difficult to tell.

When the guys were ranting about K-Ci- speak of the devil as that was when he had decided to show up.

At 9PM.

Intend of at quarter to 8 for the last open air concert of the day.

"Yo guys! I had the best day with Snoop Dogg and-"

K-Ci had shrunk back from all the dirty looks he had received from everybody on his team.

Something was going on, but what?

"Why is the atmosphere in here so intense? Damn y'all, it's like someone died in here or something. Loosen up a little."

"Loosen up a little?" Dalvin repeated, gradually coming up to K-Ci in downright infuriation, K-Ci just retreating back.

He had then had an immense go at him because he was supposed to be here over an hour ago now but he wasn't.

K-Ci didn't realise that.

And now he understood perfectly well why Jodeci were annoyed at him right now.

He would have been annoyed at himself too to be honest, and he really was.
