---Got An Offer Ya Can't Refuse

Even though Khyrese had lowkey just told K-Ci that he wanted him to join Serenity Falls, there was something else which was bothering him instead.

Serenity Falls.

Why did that name sound so familiar all of a sudden?

K-Ci had remembered that name before but he didn't exactly know how.

Then he remembered everything for good.

Rozonda had called K-Ci first and they had talked for a relatively long time.

K-Ci was honestly so confused right now, even more so when he had asked her what the name of the baby was going to be.

"Serenity Falls."

"Serenity Falls?" He had repeated, absolutely discombobulated right now as he had slowly crossed his arms and stared at her. "What kinda deadass baby name is that?"

Serenity was fine.

But why add the Falls bit?

It was redundant as hell.

Rozonda wanted to name her baby that, and K-Ci had remembered all of that right now.

He must have thinking about where he had heard Serenity Falls for a long time now because Khyrese had kept on looking at him blankly.

"K-Ci."

He had clicked his hand right in front of his face in order for him to get his attention again, and it had worked.

K-Ci had apologised to Khyrese on his behalf for daydreaming, before asking Khyrese what he actually wanted to talk to him about.

He didn't say anything though, as he had just shown him something instead. It was some sort of quarter sized leaflet or something and everything was in neon.

The leaflet itself was actually light blue, and it had said Serenity Falls on it, with a bunch of pictures of when all of them had gone on tour and what not.

K-Ci stared at Khyrese in confusion, wanting to know why he had just sent him that.

"I'm showing you this because I want you to join Serenity Falls."

K-Ci didn't say anything at this point.

He was actually drinking water when Khyrese had told him that, and when Khyrese had done that, he had done a complete spit take inside his drink.

He couldn't have been serious.

K-Ci barely knew him, let alone the entire group, and all of sudden Khyrese wanted him to join his entire group?

That just didn't make any sense to K-Ci whatsoever really.

"I'm sorry. Let me get this straight. You want me to join Serenity Falls?"

Khyrese gave him the largest smile in the history of smiles.

OK, so he was being really serious right now.

But how did K-Ci know that he didn't have any ulterior motives as to why he wanted K-Ci to join the group?

It could have been likely.

K-Ci barely knew Serenity Falls to be honest.

Heck, screw that.

He hadn't even heard of them before today.

"Why do you want me to join Serenity Falls?"

"Because," Khyrese had told him, laughing a bit, K-Ci in the meantime just folding his arms at him instead.

"I think that you'd be a great aspect to the team. I've seen you perform, K-Ci. We're way better than Jodeci, no offence. Plus... aren't you tired of them anyway?"

No one had dissed Jodeci like that and they had gotten away with it.

But then again.

They were bigger than Jodeci. If that wasn't the case right now then Rozonda may not have had to call her baby after them.

He sighed.

"No, I'm not tired of Jodeci. They're my brothers, man. I love them to bits."

"But really though?" Khyrese had questioned K-Ci. "I heard they forgot your birthday the other day. Are those really the kind of friends you want?"

How did he know that?

Crazy.

He wasn't even a part of the group.

K-Ci had just told Khyrese that they were all busy, but the word busy wasn't really an excuse anymore. It wasn't a good one.

K-Ci sighed.

He had loved them and all but he did feel under their shadow sometimes.

He did kinda want something new- but then again, Jodeci always had his flipping back. He couldn't have just turned on them like that. It wasn't the right thing to do.

Khyrese had told him to think about it, and he had three days to do so apparently.

"What? Three days? You're joking."

"Tour ends in three days, then we'll never see each other again."

Then he left.

K-Ci just watched him.

Then he sighed again and groaned.

He really wanted to reject the offer.

But then he kinda wanted it at the same time.

He had to talk to his teammates about this. Only then would he have been able to figure out what he really wanted.
