Jaws (Part One)

A/N:

I recently watched Jaws and it gave me the inspiration for this. Warning, there i some gore in this and involves a shark attack on young children, so if you don't like that I don't recommend reading this story. Does also have death. If you're okay with that, enjoy :)

Carlos slowly moved his sunglasses so they sat on his head. His fiancé, Jay, was in the sea with their two daughters, Nina and Tess. Next to him was Evie, and beside her was Mal, her girlfriend. Their daughter, Evelyn, was sitting in the sand next to Jay and Carlos' son, Cameron. Nina and Tess were around 12 while Cameron and Evelyn were 2. Carlos sighed with happiness. Back on the Isle, they would've never imagined life could be this good. Hanging out on beach, with the King of Auradon and their respective lovers and children. He looked over at Evie who was gently rubbing some sunscreen on Evelyn's back and shoulders as the toddler squirmed and tried to wiggle away from her mother's arms. "Stay still!"Evie complained before muttering under her breath, "How does Carlos manage three of these monsters." The young male chuckled to himself at that before putting his sunglasses back on and starting to dose off.

Only ten minuets into Carlos' nap, he was awoken by some kid screaming, "SHARK!" He shot up along with Evie and spotted everybody in the sea running out. His daughters fell down beside him, quickly followed by Jay who sat beside him, seemingly calm. Mal was holding onto Evelyn protectively, but Cameron was nowhere to be seen. An alarm went off in Carlos' head as he frantically searched for his youngest child among the crowd of worried parents and terrified kids. The fin that everybody had assumed was a shark emerged from the water, revealing two children, around 8, dressed in a wetsuit with the foam fin attached to one of their backs. Almost everybody on the beach started yelling at the kids as they're parents quickly rushed them away. People started flooding back into the water, but Carlos was still desperately trying to find Cameron. He spotted Jay following him, clear worry in the older male's eyes. "What's wrong?"the son of Jafar asked as he reached his lover.
"I can't find Cameron..."Carlos panted, close to crying.
"It'll be okay, we'll find him..."Jay reassured, looking around for his son.

Half an hour later, screams were heard coming from the water, just as Carlos scooped up Cameron, holding him close. Heads darted to look at the water, the remains of somebody's body floated just above the water, a huge hole in their side. Carlos covered his mouth, close to throwing up. Jay ran up behind him and pulled him in close, taking the puppy boy's eyes away from the corpse as other screamed for help around them. They headed around to behind the toilet block where Mal, Evie, Evelyn, Nina and Tess were waiting, everyone in floods of tears. The group decided it was best to go home.
