A Complicated Christmas [Byler]

This fanfiction will be relatively short. It will, in total, have 18 chapters, plus an epilogue and this chapter. It will only be a Byler fanfiction, and there won't be any other couples that aren't in the show, like Elmax, unfortunately. However, if you speak french and are interested in this kind of fanfiction, you can check out another one I wrote called: La Famille reconstitué.

Anyway, this is a special Christmas themed fanfic, which means I will post one chapter a day until Christmas (all of the chapters are already translated and written, I started in September to be ready on time).

The story takes place in December after the Byers and Eleven moved away. All the events from the show until season 3 happened in this fanfic as well. It's not an alternative universe with Hopper (yes, I know he is alive, but when I originally wrote this story last year, we thought he was dead, so this is written as if he is). So if you didn't see the three first seasons of Stranger Things, you might not understand everything that is going on in the story and the references I make.

This story was originally written in November 2019 and finished in July 2020 (I took a long break). This won't happen for this story since I will only post this if the whole story is done on time. But the original story was written in French, and this is just a translation. If you are more comfortable reading in the French language, you are then more than welcome to check the French version on my profile (it has the same book cover).

I also want to add that French is my first language and even though I go to school in English and work in English, I might have still made some mistakes while translating this, so please be indulgent.
