Mike had made a promise to Will and if Mike was good at something was keeping his promises for Will. He had promised him a future and he gave him a future.

Everything started with their visits. Every months, Mike was either going spend a weekend at Will's, or Will was going to spend a weekend at Mike's. They switched every month so it would be fair. However, during summers, they would spend a whole month at one's and another month at the other's, being inseparable during these moments.

When time to go to college came, Mike and Will chose the same school, which was in the latter's town and they moved in together in an appartment. They lived extremely happy together in these little rooms during the four years it took them to gradue.

Mike studied in education and science in university and after graduating he was immediately hired as a science teacher at one of the middle school of this town. On the other hand, Will studied in art and design and was hired after graduating by an advertising agency as a designer for logos. They two boys loved their jobs and were happy together. They kept their appartment after graduating, thinking they didn't need more space for the moment.

Two years after graduating, Mike took Will at a fancy restaurant and after an excellent dinner, he proposed the young man who obviously said yes before bursting out in tears.

They got married a year later, at the age of 26. Their wedding was a success and beautiful. Mike had asked Dustin and Lucas to be his best men and Will had asked his brother and one of his close friends from college to be his. Not wanting to excluse Max and Eleven, they had asked them, with Holly and Nancy, to be flower girls.

The church was decorated with lilacs, being Will's favorite flowers, and turquoise garlands, being Mike's favorite color. The Wheeler had invited his entire extended family, of course, but also had Max, a dozen of his friends from university and several staff members from the school where he worked. Will had also invited his family, although they were a lot smaller than Mike's, and Eleven, who was sitting next to his mother who couldn't stop crying. He also had some friends he had made at school and several colleagues from the agency where he worked.

The two men exchanged their vows, full of funny little anecdotes and sweet words, and they couldn't stop crying during the little speeches. They loved each other so much, it was heartbreaking. When the priest declared them husbands, Mike suddenly grabbed Will's waist and kissed him with all his might as if it was the first and last time they were doing it. And Will felt so happy at that moment, he had wished that time would stop forever and that he could live this moment for all eternity, but of course it was impossible. They still had an eternal memory of that moment, their names now being Mike and Will Wheeler-Byers.

The part after the ceremony was really fun and everyone danced together, the grooms kept being congratulated and beautiful speeches had been told about them. A whole lot of happy tears had been pourred and the two boys knew that they had done they best thing in their lives at that moment.

Afterwards, they left on a honeymoon in France for two whole months. They visited the whole french country and had so much fun, getting their children spirits back, not caring about anything but having fun. They came back home after and took their jobs back.

Two years later, they bought their first house together. They soon moved in and decided to start their own family. Eleven, Max, Nancy and Molly had all suggested that they could carry their children if they wished, but the two boys decided that if they couldn't both be biologically related to their children, then they would just rather adopt, especially knowing that these children were looking for a family, but were missing parents. Mike and Will were also looking for a family, but were missing children, so this was the best solution for them.

After months and months of waiting and complications, they were finally able to bring home three young girls whose parents had abandonned them to save up money for drugs. They became the fathers of Alice, who was three years old, Hailey who was two years old, and Olivia, who was a year old.

They were exceptional fathers, always taking care of their daugthers and putting them first. They raised the three girls together and never had sons, even though Mike had always secretly wished to have a son. However, when he met his daughters, the idea of having a son left his mind and he realized that these girls were his children and he didn't need them to be boys for him to be happy.

They adopted later two cats, after months of Hailey and Olivia, who were now 8 and 7 years old, begin. Once again, it went against Mike's dream to have a dog, but it didn't matter anymore, his family was what was making him happy and the idea of getting a dog didn't even cross his mind.

They kept growing old together, turning their daughters into science fiction fans and just science in general, just like were both husbands. Will taught Alice how to draw and she developped an extraordinary talent in this field, becoming even better than her father after a while.

And the Wheeler-Byers family kept growing old together, always happy and loving. And at no moment in their lives, Will and Mike regretted that kiss underneath the mistle toe.

The End.
