"FINALLY FREE!!!" Ava yelled

"Shut up its only been a few days." Mia said rolling her eyes

"Your just saying that because you can spend days in your room by yourself." Ava replied

"I mean you ain't wrong." Mia shrugged

"Hey since Ava is free now, can we go get some food?" Denki asked

"Sure." Everyone agreed

Kiri was the last one to leave because he was stopped by David.

"I have no idea why you would date that loser. She is just a useless background character." David said

"Excuse me? No she isn't." Kiri said sternly

"No need to be hostile just saying that you would be better off with someone else." He said walking away

Kiri caught up with his friends and they all walked to the mall. They got to the food court and everyone got something different. Bakugou got Katsudon, Denki got Pikachu themed dumplings, Sero got some spicy Ramen along with Mia, Ava got some soup, Mina got got Boba, lastly Kiri got some regular dumplings.

"What took you so long back at the dorms man?" Denki asked Kiri

"Oh had to deal with something." He responded

Mia saw right through him. After years of lying herself she was able to read anyone like an open book.

"Who talked to you?" Mia asked blatantly

"What how did you-" Kiri cut himself off

"Years of practice. Now who was it?" Mia repeated

"Your bully.." he said

Ava tensed up and turned her hands into fists. While Mia just narrowed her eyes and didn't move.

"What did he say about Ava?" Mia asked in a monotone voice

"He was being mean to her and I stood up for her. He was being super unmanly." Kiri responded

Mia looked at him for a moment then said, "Alright then...." still monotone

She continued to eat her food, while everyone did the same. Ava felt angry and sad but tried not to show it. She wasn't as good at hiding things as Mia, but she was pretty good. So they all sat there telling jokes and laughing like usual.

~back at the dorms~

Mia and Ava were sitting down in the common room while everyone else was up in their dorms. That was until David showed up.

"You know I am impressed Ava that you got a guy like him to fall for you." He said. "But then again he could just be pitying you."

Ava gave an annoyed look. While Mia sat there clenching the couch cousins.

"Why so upset you shouldn't be hurt by the truth. Maybe one of the reasons he pities you is because he knows that no one will like you. I mean look at you, your fat, ugly, and annoying."(Ava you are none of these things it hurt to write) David said

"Well your a idiotic, inferior, imbecile but you don't see me telling you that now do you." Mia stated

"Ooo fancy who knew you could use those big words." David said in a baby voice

"Shut up..." Mia murmured

"What was that?" He asked sarcastically

"Shut up..." Mia said a little louder

"Aww the poor baby is trying to talk." He said

"SHUT UP!!" She stood up and yelled in her face

"Still got some claws I see." He added

Mia was just about to punch him when her fist was stopped by Ava. She used her quirk and pushed Mia's fist down to her side. Mia gave her a confused look while Ava just stared at the ground.

"He's not worth it." Ava said

Mia just rolled her eyes and walked up to her dorm. David smirked and walked away. Leaving Ava alone with her thoughts.

~The next day~

Everyone sat in class like usual Ava was super quiet which was weird. Mia kept glancing back at her knowing full well that she wasn't okay. Ava looked like how Mia did when she zoned out. Which was bad. The day went on like this until lunch. Ava being quiet, looking dazed, and avoiding everyone.

At lunch the others were joking while Kiri and Mia worried for Ava. Ava ate some then excused herself and walked to the bathroom. Mia has a bad feeling after she had been gone for a few minutes.

"Hey I'ma be right back." She said following her sister

She quietly walked into the bathroom to hear what sounded like puking. She walked to the very last stall and saw it wasn't locked. She pulled it open to reveal Ava throwing up all the food she had just eaten.

"What the hell.." Mia muttered under her breath

Ava quickly turned her head to face a terrified looking Mia.

"Wait it's not what you think!"

"You lies to me..... You said you stopped and I have been trying to be clean..." Mia said tears rolling down her face

"I- What if he is right!?" Ava yelled

"David?! That imbecile doesn't have enough brain cells to tell the truth! You know Kiri loves you!" Mia yelled back at her. Her voice cracked a few times

"BUT WHAT IF HE IS PITYING ME!" Ava yelled crying

"I SEE THE WAY HE LOOKS AT YOU! HE LOVES YOU AND ITS GOING TO HURT HIM WHEN I TELL HIM THAT YOU STILL DO THIS!" Mia yelled going to storm out

"NO!! He can't know!"

"To late for that.." and with that Mia walked out of the bathroom

~back at the lunch room~

Mia entered the big room still crying. She had the look of anger and sadness on her face. When she approached her table everyone gave her a concerned look. She didn't sit down she just pointed to Kiri and made a motion for him to follow her.

*Kiri Pov*

She lead me out of the lunch room and stopped.

"What wrong bro?" I asked

"This is about Ava... And you are going to have to be the rational one now cause I am about to have a mental break down." She said starting at the floor

"What happened is she okay?!" I said concerned

"I walked into the bathroom and saw her throwing up her food. She hasn't stopped and she told me she was trying." Mia gave and angry glare. "She lies to me and she never lies..."

I just gave her a shocked expression not being able to form words anymore. I saw Ava slowly walk out of the bathroom and stare at me and Mia in horror. I ran up to her and pulled her into a tight hug. Crying as I did so.

*Mia pov*

I watched them hug as Ava broke down. You shouldn't have yelled at her. She probably hates you know... She won't ever forgive you. Your going to be alone forever. I walked off to my dorm not caring I still had school.

~at my dorm~

I shut the door and broke down. I fell to the floor and started sobbing and shaking. Then I crawled over to my bathroom to find the blade. Once I did I removed the bandages and started making deep cuts. I sobbed even harder, but kept going. Once I was out of tears and my arms were covered in blood. I wobbled up to my feet trying to find my med kit. Once I did I wrapped my arms, changed to my comfort hoodie and sweatpants, then I went to take a nap.
