Poppy: Eighteen-Incident

      I don't know why but it was so quiet. It's not like I didn't like it but it was just too quiet for my liking. Fawn was there watching over me just in case the poisons activate. Eliana was dallying about and I was bored out of my mind-however, rather than bored, I was anxious.

     I kept moving about in my bed and shifted here and there. My anxiousness seemed to have leaked out and both Eliana and Fawn felt it. At first they didn't say anything and only gave me an occasional glance but as time pass my anxiousness just got bigger and bigger till one of them finally asked.

      "What's the matter?" Eliana asked skeptically and I only grimaced as I looked around for any signs of danger.

     "It's, it's just-I, you know-quiet..." Eliana and Fawn looked at each other.

     "Is that a bad thing?" Fawn gently sat down on the side of the bed. I bit my lip hesitating to answer her question.

      "Most of the time, it was." I fiddled with my finger as I answered and both Eliana and Fawn blinked.

      "Do you not dislike loud noises?" Fawn patiently asked me with a smile on her face. I nodded my head in response.

     "Loud noises like fireworks and gunshots or ambulances but hustle and bustle of a busy people usually doesn't...it actually calms me down because it's easier to blend in..." Both of them looked perplexed for a second before they understood what I meant.

      "I see. How about we sneak down and see why everyone's so quiet." I let out a big smile! This was great! It'll be like a mission! And I really want to know why everything is so quiet.

     "Can we have pudding after we find out why everyone's so quiet?" Oh I miss pudding. They taste absolutely delicious and it's always sweet and yummy and so goooood! I never get tired of it!

      "Alright, however, well have to cook it ourselves." I nodded.

     "We can do that. Right Eliana?" Eliana only snorted and turned her head away before proceeding to take a nap. This wolf. She looked much more interested in things when I was with her. Now with Fawn her, she's acting cool and distant! Esh! Talk about a show off!

Forget about her! Me and Big sis can go by ourselves to check things out! She can stay her and take her silly nap. I don't blame her though, naps are amazing! I wish I could nap anywhere, anytime and any day! Too bad I can't...

"Can we go now?" I jumped off my bed. I was dressed in a white silk soft pj and it was very comfortable.

"Of course. But we must keep quiet. Alright?" I nodded my head. I was only as tall as Fawn's kneecap. While I'm five right she's already twenty. There's a fifteen year difference between us. I would be taller but my body shrunk thanks to those guys so I'm a lot shorter right now.

I'll grow! I think...we'll I do hope I grow. Because is I have to stay in this tiny body I might as well cut my body in half! I don't want to be this short when I grow up! I was already short in my first life! I don't want to be shorter than I already was.

Making our way downstairs stealthily I held onto Fawn's hand and she held onto mine. We sneaked around and as we reach onto the top of the stairs we sneaked a peek. It looks like they were having a meeting which explained why this place was so quiet.

It felt like forever since I've been I this villa-mind you this wasn't the same villa as the black magicians razed. This was another villa which was in the middle of the Mist Forrest and makes it hard to get in here.

People who aren't familiar with this place gets loss often and there usually aren't much to see except miles and miles of forest. This place has tight security. The reason why we didn't come here for our vacation was because there wasn't much too see.

That's why we usually went into the other villa. I doubt that we'll go back there anytime soon though. After what happened, It'll take a few years maybe even decades before we go back there. It was truly unfortunate that an incident to such degree would happen.

"What is the meeting about?" I whispered to Fawn. Fawn shook her head. She didn't know the specific detail but she knew the gist of it. I suppose I did too. It was probably about the incident.

I wonder if they all know about why the black magicians came to the villa but based on their serious expression, I'll bet they know about it. Hopefully they took back the gem since the black book was already destroyed-thanks to me of course.

One thing the same about all of them was that they all look really tired. I'm sure this whole entire incident exhausted them mentally, physically and emotionally. It did to me. Haaaa...I wished this whole entire incident never happened...
