☆Jake's Pov☆

Turns out Daisy did come out to watch us, but... My heart didn't beat as fast as it usually did... Or my words didn't fumble.

My confidence is probably rising up.

Either way, I guess the crowd wasn't too big...

I mean the school was definitely bigger.

"Woah, Jake... You guys are so... Profesional!" Daisy squealed, dancing around a bit.

"Oh? Thanks Daisy..." I reply.

"Yeah... Singing in front of your first crowd... That's... Amazing... I wish I could do that!" Daisy sighed.

"But- You dance, right?" I ask.

"Not in front of a crowd, more like... My mom and dad...." She chuckled.

"Oh yeah... That's cool..." I say.

"Yeah... Hey um... Have you seen, Sean?" She asked.

"Sean...?" I ask back.

"Oh, silly me... I also came to watch him perform too.... We became friends as well!"

"Uh, I think he's over there." I reply, pointing towards the west side of the stage.

Alright great." She says, walking over.

"Yeah... Bye..." I say, waving.

I look back to the crowd. Not gonna lie... I'm REALLY nervous.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and I jerk back.

"Jeez... You're like a skittish cat... What's wrong?"

It was Hailey. I didn't want to tell her I was scared.

"Nothin'..."

"Doesn't seem like nothin'... Jake?"

"Alright, I'm still really scared." I reply, sheepishly.

"You're such a dork... I told you there is nothing to worry about, you're a great singer... So..."

Zander walked up.

"So if you fail, I'll probably judge for the rest of your life..." Zander laughed.

"Very encouraging..." Hailey laughed as well.

"Guys.... That's not funny!" I whine.

"Should we tape it? So we can watch it over, and over and-"

"Zander, stop it!" I yelled.

"Aw, Jake, I'm sure you'll do fine..." Milly shrugged.

"Yeah, you sing really good..." Tyler murmered, shifting onto one foot.

"Guys, we're up now..." Luke called, fooling around with his drum sticks.

We stepped up onto the stage, and I looked at all the people, Daisy was clapping and was looking at me.

So I gave her a measly wave.

"Well, here goes... You can do it, Jake." Hailey whispered to me.

"Thanks." I whisper back.

The music started up around me, and I started to sing.

I guess I sang my little heart out pretty well, and started to flow with the music.
