☆Jake's Pov☆

Today I woke up to my alarm clock ringing for my school alarm. I went to get up.

I couldn't find my phone last night. Even though I checked everywhere. I tried to get up to look for it again.

Then I realized Hailey was right next to me.

"Oh jeez! When did this happen!?"

I tried my best to get up without waking her, but I still did.

Hailey woke up and met my face. She rubbed her eyes before looking at me.

"Why are you sleeping with me?" She asked groggily.

"I don't know... Why are you in my house?" I respond.

"You let me stay here... So why are sleeping with me?" She asked once more.

"It was a while before I went to bed, I really don't know..." I respond.

"Alright, get off of me... There's school..." Hailey chuckled a bit.

"Oh. Right..."

We get dressed and I made breakfast.

"Eggs? Wow, you're fancy, Jake..." Hailey teased.

"It's all I know how to make..." I respond, handing her a plate.

"I'm not complaining..." She sighs, eating it up.

"Well... Thanks then... Next time, you can make breakfast..." I reply.

"I can't really make anything either..." She responds.

"Oh?"

"Yeah... If my parents are home, we get actual food... But if not, we have cereal..."

"What are you talking about, the most famous celebrities have cereal!" I laughed.

"Name one." She smugly asked.

"Me!" I boasted.

Hailey rolls her eyes.

"You? Famous? Yeah right..." She says to me.

"You're in denial..."

"Yeah sure..."

We finish and walk out the door.

"You sure it was okay that you stayed over?" I asked Hailey.

"Yep... I could just tell them I was at a friend's house, which technically wouldn't be lying." She smugly replies.

"Alright... But it's not my fault if you get in trouble."

"I'll probably won't get in trouble... But if Zander finds out, we're BOTH in big trouble." She laughs.

"Oh no..."

"Relax, Zander will probably only break you arm..." She sarcastically says.

"Stop scaring me!" I yelled, with a hint of laughter.

We get to the front school gate.

Zander was waiting for us too.

"Hailey?"

"Zander?"

"Where were you? And why are you with Jake?" He questioned, looking us up and down.

"Um... Well, I was staying at a friend's house... And Jake lived nearby..." She says.

"Jake is this true?" Zander asked.

"Yep! Yes, definitely!" I lie.

He continues to stare at us.
