"Do I know you?" Feng Jiu asked, crossing her arms across her chest as she stared at the white haired man in front of her.

"You should, I am Dong Hua Dijun, former Heavenly Emperor before Ye Hua's grandfather, I am also your fiancé" Dijun said as Feng Jiu registered the words fiancé.

"I am engaged to you? I don't see how since I don't remember meeting you before now" Feng Jiu said as Dijun nods.

"That is true, but you and I have a history that goes back a few years, I met you when your aunt was becoming the wife of the Emperor Ye Hua and the Empress of the Heavenly Realm" Dijun said.

Feng Jiu then held a hand up, looking at him square in the eyes.

"I am sorry, but I don't know you, I also have to get back to my aunt's Palace so if you will excuse me" Feng Jiu said and pushed past him to see her aunt standing at the bottom of the stairs.

A smile lit Feng Jiu's face as she rushed down the stairs, the two maids following behind her as Feng Jiu stopped at her aunt's side.

"Gugu!" she exclaimed and took her hand. Qian patted her niece's hand before looking at Dijun who stood at the top of the stairs.

"Were you spying on my niece while she bathed?" Qian asked as Dijun walked down the stairs and stopped in front of the Empress and Fox Queen.

"I was merely having a conversation with my fiancé" Dijun said as Qian looked at him.

"Your fiancé is Princess Ji Heng of the Demon Clan, nothing can change that" Qian said as Feng Jiu moved behind her aunt to allow Dijun to walk past, but he didn't move.

"The only woman I will marry will not be Princess Ji Heng, it will be Qing Qiu's Fox Queen Bai Feng Jiu" Dijun said.

Having had enough of what was being said about her apparent engagement, Feng Jiu took her hand out of her aunt's and turned, transforming into her fox form and running off towards her aunt's Palace.

"I have warned you once and I will warn you again, don't ever come near my niece again, you have hurt her badly and I will not allow you to do the same again!" Qian said as she turned and followed after her niece, transforming into her white fox form and darting after her niece.

But Feng Jiu did not go to her aunt's Palace, she disappeared into the peach forest with no word about where her destination was.

Walking the streets of the mortal world in her human form, Feng Jiu looked around at the shops that held jewellery, clothes and shoes, there was also places selling food and medical supplies for the residents of the villages and travelling tourists.

Walking back to her fox den, she decided to plan a festival for the people of Qing Qiu for showing loyalty to the monarch of the Qing Qiu, the Kings and Queens long before her and her aunt.

Sitting at the table, Feng Jiu was trying to think of her plans, but was interrupted by what Dijun had said to her.

He said he was engaged to her, but her aunt said he was engaged to the Demon Princess Ji Heng, but he said he wouldn't marry her, but the little Fox Queen Feng Jiu.

Yawning, Feng Jiu headed over to the bed that was occupied by the Queen's of Qing Qiu and laid down as Mi Gu walked in and placed a plate of her favourite sorrowless cakes beside her on the table.

Feng Jiu thanked him before she turned in her bed and tried to get some sleep. In her dreams, she dreamt of a future with the white haired man who called her his fiancé. In that dream, they had a white haired child named Bai Gun gun and she felt like she had this dream from somewhere.

Waking up from the dream, Feng Jiu's face felt wet as she sat up and wiped the tears that stained her face. Looking at her wet hands from the tears, she looked around before getting up and walking out of her fox den.

There once again stood the white haired man, who looked at the Queen with gentle eyes and a slightly looped smile as he walked to her.

"What are you doing here?" Feng Jiu asked looking at him.

"Jiu, do you really not remember me?" Dijun asked, looking at her as she stared at him with a blank expression.

"No, I don't remember meeting you before the Heaven Spring" Feng Jiu said as he took a step towards her and placed his hands on her shoulders.

Dijun then shared his memories with her, before she went to her trial. Feng Jiu's eyes looked at him as he shared his memories with her, which she was slightly getting confused over.

A tear slid down her cheek and he used his free hand to wipe it from her cheek, he stopped sharing his memories and suddenly, she remembered that she had fallen in love with Dijun. As the memories overwhelmed her, she collapsed.

"Jiu!" Dijun called out and caught her before she hit the ground and as he was kneeling on the ground and holding onto the girl, she looked up at him.

"Did your name appear on the rock?" she asked in a small voice and he nodded.

"But it's not your name beside mine" he said in a whisper to her.

"I can no longer stay by your side, that's a promise I made to the Goddess of the rock of Three Incarnations" Feng Jiu said.

"You silly girl, I was in love with you before you tried to put my name on the rock" Dijun said holding the woman he loved.

Feng Jiu stared up at the man she loved, but she knew she couldn't be with him, she waved her hand, she vanished from his arms and appeared in the Heaven Spring, she pulled her pink robe off and took the pins from her hair as she walked into the water and sat down.
