They listen to me, and we get into protective clothes and tunnel to the core of the earth.
"It's… so… hot… here…" I groan. "We… won't… ever… find it…"
We're nearly swimming in the molten rock that makes up the core of the earth.
"We will! We will! WE WILL! WE WILL!" Mika screams in my ear.
"Uh, Mika, your positiveness is killing me," I say sarcastically.
Mika huffs.
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Miss Negativeness," Giana growls.
"Just trying to make it more fun," I retort with the sarcasm that's always there.
"Ena, this is my life we're talking about!" Giana yells. "My life, Ena! Do you even care?!"
My blood boils, and not just because of the heat. My eyes shine with unshed tears.
"I'm leaving!" I announce and start to go.
"Good. See if I care!"
"Where Ena goes, I follow," Mika shouts and races after me.
