My hopes are dashed when I peer over the cliff.

The Dark Lady appears.

"OH YES I DO!" I scream.
I grab her, and plunge off the cliff.
I don't let go of the Dark Lady.
Her screams are music to my ears.
I smile contentedly.
Being dead is better than alive.
