Chapter 14

SinB's POV

"SinB! You did it!" Magnus shouted while hugging me.

We were resting and having a chit chat session with the statues when a S ranked boss stormed into our home. With the help of the statues and Magnus, we defeated the boss and I gain massive experience point from it. Because of the experience, I levelled up to 75 and that was the level I needed to break free from this dungeon. Magnus, the statues and I concentrated all our power on the weak spot of the dungeon before releasing all our power at it. Soon a hole broke through the magic barrier and like sand, the magic barrier collapsed and made a hole big enough for us to fit through.

"Hey guys!" I called the statues.

"So...I will remove my summon spell and you get rest up while Magnus and I figure our way out." The statues nodded before I removed the spell and Magnus transformed back into a fairy.

I walked out of the dungeon and I saw the sunset. I saw how the sun shone brightly at the summit. I remembered how much I missed this. I turn back to look at the dungeon before casting a spell.

"ble toíchos flógas."

Then a wall made out of blue flame surrounded the entrance of the dungeon. After checking the quality of the wall, I left without leaving any remains.

"Where should I go~ Where should I go~" I sang while skipping along the road of Jeju Island.

"Hmm...should I go back?" I questioned myself our loud.

"Maybe?" Magnus answered while flying around looking at all sorts of things.

"Wow...things have really changed since I last came here." Magnus exclaimed.

"Hmm...maybe not. I think they will hate to see me. Should I visit them then?" I asked again.

"Wait...maybe not since I don't think they would remember me." I answered.

"Hey...they might still think about you, you know?" Magnus said.

"Do your friends remember you, Magnus?" I asked him.

"No..." Magnus replied.

"See? They won't remember me if your friends don't remember you." I stated.

"Hey! Your friends and my friends are different. Your friends are kind and good to you, I bet they would remember you. While mine...forget it..." Magnus sighed before taking a seat back down on my shoulder.

"Hey...do you think SinB would still be alive?" I heard a voice said. He was getting closer and I decided to hide in the alley to eavesdrop.

"I don't think so. I mean...nobody can survive 1 month in a dungeon." I recognised that voice...Mark Tuan. It was him...but what were the people in my school doing here? Shouldn't they be in their dorm sleeping? I was about to leave the alley when I made eye contact with her. Yerin. Without wasting another second, I immediately teleported into a random jungle.

Yerin's POV

I was walking with Umji to the dungeon when someone appeared from the dark alley to my right. I made contact with the person and her eyes reminded me of SinB. I snapped my head back towards the alley but I saw no one. How could it be? Was I hallucinating? Seeing someone I wished to see? Or was that person really SinB?

"Yerin? You okay?" Umji shook my arm looking at me, concern.

"Y-yeah. I thought I saw SinB." I said while shaking my head.

"She's alive." Umji stated while looking in front.

"How would you know?" I looked at her.

"See the blue flame wall...I think she was the one who did that." Umji said while pointing to the blue flame wall surrounding the dungeon.

"But...SinB doesn't have any MP or Elements." I replied.

"Let's see." Umji said before dragging me along to the entrance of the dungeon.

"Okay. Now that you have all gathered, we have confirmed that this was the same exact dungeon we went to 1 month ago. We will have Yerin, Umji, Yuju, Eunseo, Dahyun and Ms Kim to lead us through the dungeon." The headmaster said before equipping his gears. Then Umji, Yuju, Eunseo, Dahyun, Ms Kim and I gathered in a circle.

"Do you guys remember the route?" Ms Kim asked us. We nodded our head in reply.

"Okay Yerin...we will need you to tell us about the key." Umji said while looking at me.

"Er...she only told me that there was a puzzle box and the key was in it. The keyhole. Er...open when ready." I said while scratching my head.

"Okay...I think Umji and I can do this." Ms Kim said.

"Attention Magic Academy. We have come here before so we should know what to expect and what to do. I want you to think before you act and do not do anything rash. Without further ado, can Ms Park remove the blue flame then SinB's group can lead us?" The headmaster said before tapping Ms Park's shoulder.

"akyróste to xórki." Ms Park chanted. After a moment, nothing happened.

"Huh?" The headmaster said.

"akyróste to xórki." Ms Park chanted again. But nothing happened again.

"Ms Park. You can't cancel this spell... it is too strong for you." Ms Kim stepped out and said.

"What do you mean?" The headmaster asked Ms Kim.

"The one who casted the spell has a higher level than Ms Park." Ms Kim explained.

"Is that so?" The headmaster said before adding on,

"Step aside, Ms Park." Ms Park abided and stepped aside.

"Taftótita." The headmaster chanted then a status card popped up.

"Hm...this was casted by...what? Unknown?" The headmaster exclaimed.

"Nevermind. I'll just..." The headmaster took a deep breath before chanting,

"me to ónoma tou theoú ífaistou, akyróste to xórki." At last, the blue flame was gone.

"Umji, what did the headmaster chant?" I asked Umji.

"Err...By the name of God Hephaestus, cancel spell." Umji said.

"Wait...God Hephaestus? Isn't he the God of Fire?" I asked again. Umji nodded her head. Wait...so the magic was so powerful that it needed a god to help? Who casted that spell though...it can't be SinB since she is a level one so...who?

  Actually I don't know. HAHAHAHA I just felt like updating this book since I didn't touch it more than 1 month and let's just say that I cringed really badly at the poorly written plots for this story. Sorry for the poorly elaborated storylines :(
