The next day after school at Peter's house, Peter asked Ned for help on how to recruit Y/N. They talked for hours and came up with non-sense.
"What if we just cover her mouth and bring her here and tie her to a chair and she won't be free until she says yes?" Ned asked.
"What the fuck, bro." Peter looked at him, mortified. "That sounds kinky and wrong at the same time. Anything else?"
"What if you just straight up tell her that you know her secret and ask her to join?" Ned suggested. "The truth will set you free, man."
"Nuh uh. No way, man. I won't do that." Peter shook his head as he buried his face on his pillow. Ned looked up at the ceiling as he relaxed on the chair that had wheels on it.
"Maybe you could do the steps thing like what you did when you asked MJ to be your girlfriend?" Ned suggested after a few minutes of silence.
Peter lifted his head off his pillow and looked at Ned, "That's kinda cringey but I'll take it." He stood up and bent down a bit to get a piece of slightly crumpled paper as they began to brainstorm on how to recruit Y/N. In the end, they came up with six steps.

Peter smiled to himself, "This sounds like a great plan!"
"Don't forget step seven!" Ned grinned mischievously. He snatched the paper from Peter's hand and wrote down something before handing it to Peter.
Peter looked at it and groaned, "Ned!"
Ned just shrugged. Peter shook his head and quickly wrote something down again. When he was done, he pinned it to his little bulletin board just a little above his desk. The two best friends looked at it as Ned pat Peter on the back, "Good luck."
"Thanks." Peter breathed.
