cinderella burns the house down
the fire's unexpected
the girl was always so sweet

the poison apple goes
palm to palm
but never between Snow's teeth

belle cheats at a game of
he loves me he loves me not,
tossing rose petals at her feet

the sleeper befriends a dragon
to keep the world at bay
and the prince becomes the beast
