Chapter XXI

"Right, best get drinks. What is everyone wanting." Blaise asked.

"Well, I won't be having anything."
Ginny said laughing.

"Punch??"
Blaise suggests.

"Yeah that's fine."
Hermione said.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"I'll help carry the drinks."
Draco said walking away with Blaise.

"Well, well. Mrs. Malfoy is it."
An irritable voice said from behind me.
I turn to see who was talking to me. It was Pansy.

"What do you want. Pansy."
I said unamused by her presence.

"Nothing I just wanted to say congratulations on your marriage."
Pansy said arms folded.

"No, you don't want to congratulate us. So, say what you are actually thinking. So just say it."
I said wanting the truth.

"Well did Draco tell you about the lovely night we spent together in sixth year."
Pansy said smirking.

I could feel a confused expression glide across my face.

"No, he didn't, did he. Aw shame."
Pansy said walking away.

"What is she on about Mia."
Ron asked.

"I don't know."
I said wondering what she was on about.

Draco and Blaise returned handing everyone their drinks.

"Draco can I talk to you please."
I said walking out of the Great Hall.

"What is it?"
Draco asked confused.

"Did you sleep with Pansy."
I asked.

"No why would you ever ask such a thing."
Draco said clearly annoyed.

"She said and I quote that you two spent a lovely night together in sixth year."
I said holding back tears.

"No, I didn't. She's lying, I would never. I couldn't she was literally obsessed with me. I didn't want a girl who fell at my feet, I wanted to fall at their feet. And I did."
He said much softer than before.

I looked at my feet thinking what an idiot I was for asking such a ridiculous question.

"Hey, I understand that Pansy is throwing you off, but you are the only one for me. That's why I married you."
Draco said lifting my head.

"I'm so sorry I doubted you."
I said tears falling down my face.

"Have I just walked in on something."
Pansy said laughing.

I looked up seeing her. I stormed over slapping her across the face.

"You are such an obsessive bitch."
I said eye glowing, hands flaming hot.

"I'm not obsessive."
Pansy shouted reaching for my hair.

I snatched her arm before she could make contact, scorching her.

"Ahh, you burned me."
Pansy screamed.

Draco grabbed my shoulder turning me to face him. My eyes still red. He dragged into one of the classrooms trying to get me to calm down.

"Hey, it's fine. You've just marked her for life. I don't think she'll be coming anywhere near you again." Draco said smiling at me as my eyes went back to green.

"I want a hug."
I said holding my arms out.

Draco comes over hugging me tightly.

"Right let's go back to the party."
Draco said taking my hand.

"I want to dance."
I said entering the Great Hall again.

"Well let's go then."
He said walking me to middle of the floor.

He gripped my waist pulling me close, my hand on his shoulder other interlocking his. We stood there swaying to the rhythm of the music. It was so peaceful.

"This is the best gift you could've given me."
I said smiling up at him.

"I'm glad you like it."
He said kissing my forehead.

"Let's go get a drink."
He said pulling me towards the edge of the hall.

"Let me get drinks."
I said going off to get them.

"Ahh Mia, how are you."
Professor Slughorn asked.

"Yes, I'm great professor, how about you."
I asked kindly whilst pouring Draco and I's drinks.

"Yes, I'm fine Mia. I see you are married."
He said admiring my rings.

"Ah yes, just yesterday."
I said.

"So, who is it."
Professor Slughorn asked curiously.

"Em, Draco."
I said with a smile on my face.

"I always knew the two of you were to be great for each other."
He said smiling at me.

"Oh yes, how so?"
I said curiosity in my voice.

"I saw the way he looked at you in the first couple of weeks. Which is why I paired you with him for the Amortentia potion."
He said his smile getting bigger.

"You paired me with Draco, because you saw the way he looked at me."
I said confused.

"Well it's clear that the I made the right decision." He said pointing towards my rings.

"Well best be off then. Your drinks won't be cold if you don't hurry."
He said laughing.

"It was great to see you Sir."
I said leaving to find Draco.

"Where is Draco?"
I asked.

"He went to the bathroom, I think."
Andrea said.

I sat our glasses on the table and walked to the bathroom, heels hitting the floor deeply.
