Mondays. Oh how I hate them my birthday was coming up and it was on a Monday. Why does the calendar have to change what weekday the dates were on. My alarm rang in my ear and woke me up outta my dread thought about what day it was. Only good thing about today was moving away to the other side of the world, I loved were i lived cos i was round the corner from my parents but i thought i was the time to change things up. So last month i resigned from my job down at the police station,it was hard to say good bye to everyone since iv only been working there 4 years, since my 18th birthday it was my dream job but I wanted to take it to somewhere new. Now I didnt know if I wanted to re apply for the police force when I get to LA or if I wanted a change of job.

"HAILEY JONES DANHING, GET YOUR ARSE OUTTA BED AND GET READY YOU WILL BE LATE TO THE AIRPORT AND YOUR SISTER IS WAITING FOR YOU" i snapped my head to the door of my room at my parents house and sat up to see my mum stood at the door in her night gown. "Alright I'm up,I'm up tell Lola I'll be down in like 15 minutes" my mum left and I grabbed my cloths I left out last night and took them to the bathroom,I washed then put my cloths on,I wasnt wearing anything fancy just a pair of leggings and a jumper. I grabbed my glasses and put them on. I quickly put my hair up into a messy bun and ran round my room grabbing my last items,these being my laptop,phone,chargers,earphones,paperwork,keys,medication and my contact lenses. I put them into my rucksack and threw it on my back before leaving my room and turning the light of. "HAILEY DANHING, HURRY UP I HAVE TO GET TO WORK ASWELL" lola was now yelling at me. Damn how I was gonna miss my little sister yelling at me. This was gonna be the first year of not celebrating are birthday on the same day. Weird I know but she only 2 years younger so we aren't twins. "I'm here" I looked at lola with a smile as she stormed to the front door and grabbed two of my cases. I followed behind her grabbing my last two cases. " Mum I'm going now, I'll come visit when iv settled and tell dad when he comes home I'll ring him later"
"Okay Hai, I love you" with that I shut the door and put my cases into Lola's car.

~time skip~

I was sat in the waiting area for my plan watching some Netflix. Ding ding "will all passengers for flight E20 please make their way to gate 4" ding ding. I put my phone back into my pocket and took out my boarding pass and passport and made my way over to gate 4. There was alot of people waiting,mostly in groups of 4 or 2, I looked like a right loner travaling by myself. As I lined up at the gate a accidentally bumped into someone in the line. "Oh my bad,sorry" I said calmly looking down at my shoe lace. " it's fine,maybe you should tie that before tripping on someone else" the kind young man said before turning back around and talking to his mates.
I finished tieing my lace before handing my boarding ticket at passport to the young lady. " thank you, your seat is f1,enjoy your flight" she gave me my passport back and I made my way to the back of the plan. "Excuse me" i looked at the 2 boys to let them know i was sitting with them. They got up and let me sit in my seat which was near the window. "Thank you" I said politely as they sat back down and put there set belts back on. As I did with mine putting my rucksack in front of my feet.
" alright is everyone on board" one of the cab crew members said over the intercom. Everyone yelled back ye.

I must have fallen asleep at some point cos I was awoken by a familiar voice "Excuse me miss,but we have landed" I woke up to see the same young man from earlier "its you" I looked at him confused "from earlier" I laughed I didnt know he was sat at the back. "Oh ye,see you managed to tie your lace but we should get of the plan everyone else is of and my mates are waiting for me"
I got up and grabbed my back and followed him. I smiled and looked at him " Hailey" I put my hand out for him to shake " Corey" he took my hand a shook it. " come with use well help with ya bags" I smiled and looked at the other 3 boys " okay,thank you" he nodded and lead everyone to the baggage area. I saw my first two bags and went to pic them up "could one of you wait with these bags i have another two" the boy with blond hair smiled and nodded. "Thank you" I didnt know any of them so they could have ran of with my bags. I saw my last two bags and got them before walking back to Corey's friend. "This is alot of bags for one girl on holiday" I laughed at the fact I wasnt here on holiday " ye I guess it would be alot for one girl on holiday" I was smiling " ohh your not here on holiday" I smiled and shook my head "you guessed it, i bought and apartment here a couple months ago but only recently resigned from my job" I was still smiling. " Oh I'm Hailey by the way" I held my hand out for him to shake " nice to meet you,I'm sam" he spoke my hand as corey and the other two dudes came back with all there bags. "It was nice meeting you Hailey,good luck" sam and corey said whilst walking away.
