When all else Fails (DekuxUraraka)

chapter 17 Eri-chan

(Izuku's pov)

Izuku arose from his bed, He was exhausted. The past year he had been busy. As soon as he slipped away from the pro hero's he set out to reunite with the rest of the league of villains.

When he told them what happened to Sensai. Shigaraki threw the biggest temper tantrum. It was so bad Shigaraki ended up killing three civilians. It was such a headache.

Then after that Izuku set out to increase the league's numbers. He met with many villains but all were mere low grade petty thieves and ruffians. Izuku wouldn't allow such men of low ambition to join. Though Izuku did come across one man he though a worthy fit for the league. He was a scientist called Chisaki Kai but he preferred to be called Overhaul.
He was a cold and calculating man and Izuku knew without a doubt that he would help the league reach new highs.

In fact Izuku was preparing to meet him today to learn about some of his research. Izuku was kind of excited.
He quickly got dressed in a nice suit and headed over to Overhauls research facility.

(Time skipping)

Overhaul had shown Izuku most of his facility and was in the process of expanding what kind of research they were doing. After all this 'young' man was to be his partner.

"Basically Deku, here we are in the process of creating a serum that will erase a person's quirk."

"Interesting."

Izuku was already coming up with many ways he could use it.
But what he saw next made his heart stop. There was a small fragile looking girl with long white hair. She was dressed in a hospital gown. Her small body carefully laid on table and she was be poked and prodded her with needles.
Izuku felt sick but he had to masks his feelings.

"Who's the girl?" He asked

Overhaul chuckled. " that is Eri. She is an essential part in making the serum."
Izuku shot him an confused look.

"Its her quirk, its called rewind. In simple term she can take anything and rewind it to whenever she likes... even to the point of it non-existence."

Izuku returned his gaze to Eri. He was surprised that such a little girl had such great power.
He hated to think that. It made his sick feeling return. He guess that there were some things about being a villain that he couldn't get used to.

Izuku then turned to Overhaul. "Well thank you for showing me around your lab. Its clear to me that you belong in the league of villains." Izuku held out his hand. "Welcome to the team partner."
Overhaul took his hand and then they parted ways.
Overhaul tried to show izuku the way out but izuku refuses him. He had something he wanted to do before he left.

(Time skip some more)

After some searching izuku finally found where they keepes Eri. Fortunately for izuku his Sensai had gather quite the array of quirks for him to use. so he snuck by undeceted.
He enter her room and saw her crying. He try to gently tap her back. She shot up scared.
"Its ok I dont want to hurt you....my names Deku."
She was still a little hesitant and he couldn't blam her. "I know your scare. But I wanted to ask you something." He wait till she relax a bit more then said "do you want to get out of here?"
