When all else Fails (DekuxUraraka)

chapter 23 Joyful news& destruction

One year later.

Ochako was sitting in the waiting room of the doctors office. She had been feeling sick the past few days.
While she waited she gazed out the window and sighed.
It had been an eventful year, as soon as she graduated from UA She and Izuku secretly moved in together. It was amazing, Ochako couldnt have been happier.
Like Izuku had told her, he couldn't 'legally' marry her but one night he had brought her a ring and they had a little ceremony in their new home.
Ochako also got a job at a big hero agency.
And things were going pretty well. Izuku was also not going by the league of villains as often.

Then her thoughts were interrupted by a nurse calling her

"Miss Ochako, the doctor will see you now."

She was then lead to one of the rooms in the back.
where she met up with the doctor.

"Hello miss Ochako. So what seems to be the problem."

"Well you see Doctor, I've been feeling sick alot. Throwing up and some dizziness. Also I've been exhausted alot more."

The doctor ponder for a moment. Then after asking a few more questions he asked a nurse to come in and take a blood sample for a test.

"Just wait one moment miss Ochako this test shouldnt take long."

He was right after a few minutes the doctor came back in with a smile on his face.

"Well miss Ochako. Its just like I thought. Your completely healthy but the reason why you've been feeling sick is cause you're Pregnant. Congratulations."

Ochako was, at first shocked but it melted away to absolutely Joy. She couldnt wait to tell izuku.

As soon as she got out of the doctors office she went to the store and bought some of food. She was planing to make a big feast for Izuku so they could celebrate the good news.

(Later At home)

When she finally got home she quickly started cooking and setting up the table.
She was so happy and excited. She wanted izuku to hurry up and get home.

After all the cooking was done and the table was set she took out her phone and texted him.

(Text messages)

Uraraka: Izuku will you be home soon? i got something i need to tell you?

Izuku: I probably won't be home for a while. Shigaraki's throwing another tantrum. Whats up?

Uraraka: well hurry of you can. Cause I'm not going to tell you over a text. This is something I want to say in person.

Izuku: 😉 alright I'll be there as soon as I can.

(Real world)

Ochako couldnt stop smiling. It took all her will power to just stay still.
So she decided to wait by the door so she could give Izuku the biggest hug when he got home.
She sat down then 30 minutes went by.
Then an hour.
Then 2
Then 3
Her excitement had deflated and she began to worry. Why wasn't he home yet? he's ok, right?

Then her phone buzzed. But it wasnt Izuku.

(Text messages)

Momo: Uraraka have you seen the news yet????

Uraraka: No why???

Momo: turn it on now!!

(Real world)

Ochako got up and quickly turn on the television. Flipping it to the news channel. She watched, and her feel of dread turn to horror.
