When all else Fails (DekuxUraraka)

chapter 20 triumph and defeat

Bakugou, Mirio and overhaul fought an intense battle.
While Ochako did her best to protect Eri and the others while they try to get information off of the computer.

Bakugo and Mirio were able to beat Overhaul back but he was a stubborn man and kept getting back up.

"Do you......think.......I'm that......easily.......defeated?.........you have ........no idea.........who you're.......messing with."

Overhaul said through heavy breaths.
Both he and the two young hero were about at their limit when another voice got everyone's attention.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?"

It was Deku and he was flanked by Shigaraki and Kurogiri. Everyone stood frozen with fear.
Overhaul was the first  to find his voice.
"Boss.. its just some intruders..please dont worry. I have everything under control."

Deku rolled his eyes. "clearly."
Then Deku looked over his shoulder and spoke to Kurogiri.
"What do you think Kurogiri? Does it look like our newest recruit has everything under control?"
The whispy man shook his head.
"No it doesn't sir."
Deku then smiled a wicked smile. "Oh dear im sorry Kai but unlike my processor I dont tolerate failure."

Then the room began to shake until everyone but Deku and his companions were left standing. Deku  proceeded to walk towards Overhaul. Deku then raised his hand and materialize a gun in it. "Dont worry Kai. The league of villains will make sure your research doesn't go to waste."

BAM. BAM.

Overhaul didnt even have time to beg for his life. Deku then turned to his companions. "Recover all of his research. I'll take care of the heros." They nodded and telported away.

Ochako could believe it. She didnt want to believe it. How could her beloved Izuku take a life so easily. She looked down at Eri who she quickly shielded. She didn't want Eri to witness what just happened.
Just then Bakugo got up and began to attack Izuku.
Izuku barely had time to raise his arms in self-defense when, BAM, Bakugo hit him with his quirk.
Ochako grabbed  Mirio and said "Mirio take Eri and the others and get out of here." He nodded and they all ran for the exit. She then turned her attention back to Izuku and Bakugo.
She had to figure out how to stop them but neither of them would give her an opening.
From the outside it look like they were evenly match but Ochako knew better. She knew that Izuku's quirk was stronger than any of theirs so why was he holding back.

Just as she was thinking this, Bakugo readied himself for his strongest attack.
" HOWITZER!!!!!!"
BOMMMMMMM

Then when the dust settled half of the building was gone. as well as Deku.

(Time skip)

'Hold it together, Hold IT! together.'

Ochako kept telling herself that through the mission debriefing and on the way home but as soon as as the door closed behind her. She broke down sobbing. It felt like her world had just ended. She didnt want to go on anymore.

Knock, knock

Just then she heard someone knocking on her door. She thought it might be Momo checking in. But when she opened the door it wasnt Momo.
