Chapter 7

Trisha was delighted when Xander's face appeared on her phone screen.

"Tita Trish," he immediately exclaimed when he saw her.

"Hi Xander. I miss you. How are you?"

"I miss you too, Tita. I'm fine. I was playing Lego with Daddy Alex."

"Where is your Mom?" she asked him.

He disappeared from the screen and Toni's face replaced his.

"So, you already came out?" her friend immediately asked.

"Not yet. My godmother is on duty and her husband is at work. I was left with Gray."

"Hello."

She was startled when Gray suddenly appeared behind her.

She waved at Toni.

"Hi. I'm Toni, Trisha's friend."

"Hi Ton, nice meeting you. I'm Gray."

Xander's face was back on the screen.

"Tita Trish, is that your boyfriend?"

Trisha glared at him and Toni laughed in the background.

"No," she quickly replied.

"Hi, what's your name?" Gray asked, getting closer to her as she spoke.

"I'm Xander. Who are you?"

"Hi Xander. I'm Gray. I saw you last time when you were in Davao with your Tita Trish."

Trisha was surprised by what she heard.

She looked up at Gray and their lips almost touched.

Was Gray that close to her?

"Oh my God, Mommy, Daddy Alex. Tita Trisha kissed a guy."

Trisha quickly moved away when she heard the boy's excited exclamation.

Toni and Alex quickly came closer to the camera to check on them.

Gray smiled at the couple.

"Nice to meet you, tol. Gray by the way. I heard about you from Sky and Nicole."

Alex waved.

"Hi tol. Nice to meet you too. Actually, Sky just called. We were discussing about the partnership for the club that we're planning to build," Alex said.

"Oh yeah. We talked about it before I left Manila. We can talk about it when I get back there."

"Okay tol. Please take care of Trish. She's still heartbroken."

Gray looked at her.

"You do?" she asked.

Trisha glared at her.

"Alex, can I talk to Toni?" she asked.

"What is it?" Toni answered.

Trisha stood up and went out to the mini garden outside.

She looked at Gray, wondering if she would follow her again.

"He's handsome, huh?" her friend commented.

"Well, yes."

"Do you like her?"

"Hell no! Never."

"There you go again with your words. Don't speak so definitively. It seems like she likes you."

She rolled her eyes.

"She just wants to get under my pants."

Toni's eyes widened.
