I blinked my eyes open slowly. I squinted in the bright morning light. I looked around at our base seeing Dog sleeping a few inches away. I rubbed his head. In return woke up and began wagging his tail. He stretched awake, and began licking my hand. I continued to pet him as he spun around trying to get me to scratch an itch. Dog ran over to his plastic bowl and picked it up in his mouth. He ran back over to me excitedly, signaling he wanted food.

I stretched slightly, and sat up. Immediately being pulled back down.

"Dream I have to feed dog," my voice was muffled by Dream's hoodie. His strong arms were wrapped around my body stopping me from moving.

"Stay- you're warm," I could hear the smile in his voice. The smell of him made me want to stay. I pushed my head into his chest, while pulling on his hoodie, "Yayy~" his voice was scratchy from sleep.

"I'm not staying, you just smell good," I smiled looking up at his beautiful eyes. I tried to get up again, but Dream AGAIN pulled me down. He was much stronger than me, so it wasn't very hard for him, "Dream!" I blushed extremely hard. Covering my face with my hands.

"I like your face don't cover it up," Dream pulled my hands away from my face. He held my wrists tightly. He leaned in and kissed me on the lips lightly. I blushed even harder. We had only kissed one other time. I liked it, and melted into the kiss. Dream turned his head deepening the kiss. I wriggled my hands trying to put them around his neck, but he held them tightly in place. Clay pulled away smiling at me, he let go of my wrists "You can leave now~" I blushed, covered my face, and walked over to give Dog some food, "You always cover your face... stop that!" Dream complained, "Your cute when you blush~" His words made me blush harder, he knew this of course, that's why he said it. I was tempted to cover my face, but instead just turned around. To hide my face from Clay, "Oh come on!" I felt his hands on my hips, "Don't be so shy Georgie!" He hugged me from behind, his hands wrapped around my waist. I continued to blush. We had kissed before, but I am a hopeless romantic.

"I know you're doing these things on purpose... clay," I turned my head to look up at him.

"So we're using my real name now are we?" Clay smirked and kissed my forehead.

"StoOp!" I covered my face again, waiting for Clay to continue, "well don't just stop!" I whined. Clay raised an eyebrow.

"You just told me too!" He let go of me, and I felt cold again. I frowned.

"Yeah- but I didn't mean it!" I whined again. Holding onto Clay's shoulder, I leaned onto him.

"Too late! You said to stop!" Clay pushed me off, and I stumbled a little, crossing my arms in frustration.

"Whatever, are you okay to walk?" I paused thinking for a moment, "like to the convenience store?" It had been a week or so since I found Dream there. We needed more supplies, and food.

"Yeah, are we gonna bring Dog?" I looked over to Dog who was happy because he heard the word 'Walk'.

"Of course!"

Time skip-

We had a late start so we had to be quick so we could get back to our base. I looked ahead and saw the old run down store. I began running, as I was excited to be out of the base for once. I tripped over a rock, and fell.

"Ow!" I looked down to my ankle. Just a scratch.

"Are you okay!" Dream called from behind me.

"Yeah, I just fell!" I stood back up, and waited for Dream. He came closer with Dog prancing around leading the group. We headed to the broken door. It seemed to have fallen more. I realized we couldn't get through the door anymore.

"Damn..." Dream whispered under his breath.

"What are we supposed to fo now!?" This was the best source of supplies I had found so far.

"I got it!" Dream pushed me back a little, and made Dog sit a little bit away.

"Drea-"

"Wait a second," Dream cut me off, as he gripped the door. Quickly yanking it off the hinges with a small amount of effort.

"Whoah Dream how did you..." I trailed off amazed by how strong he was.

"I dunno," Dream said "Come on lets get our things and go it's gonna get dark soon," He headed in through the actual door way now, as Dog and I followed.

Time skip-

I had picked up food, and bandages, and medicine. We were on our way back, and the sun was setting. I walked closer to Dream. Looking around at the darkness taking over. We were close to our base now, I recognized more things. Dog pranced happily along side us. The sun set quickly. I pulled my flashlight out of my back pack. Shining it ahead of us. Clay must've known I was getting scared because he grabbed my hand, and walked shoulder to shoulder with me. I blushed slightly. I would have covered my face, but I didn't have any free hands. I looked ahead, and saw a Grey body laying on the ground. I squeezed Clay's hand pointing to it. He nodded and grabbed onto Dog's collar so he wouldn't get close to it. We made a wide hook around the heap on the floor. I watched intently as we passed the grey body.

We passed it, and continued on our way back. I glanced behind us and froze. Did it move? It was definitely further than that. I shone my flashlight at it. It was now crouching instead of laying on the ground. I felt tears form in the corners of my eyes. Clay felt me stop walking, and turned to look at me still holding onto Dog. I stood unable to move as I stared at this thing.

"George come on," Clay whispered harshly. The thing must have heard Clay, because it's head snapped up. It's cold eyes staring at me.

"George!" Clay grabbed my hand and pulled me toward him. I snapped out of my frozen state, and looked at Clay. Tears ran down my face. "We have to go come on," Clay pulled me along as he began running toward our base. My vision was blurred from my tears, and I had to blindly follow Clay. I felt my foot catch on something. I fell towards the ground I pulled my hand away from Clay and covered my face. I lay on the ground crying my eyes shut tightly. I slowly opened them to see the zombie running on all fours towards me. I stood up, and immediately fell to the ground. My ankle hurt too much. I couldn't run. Or even stand.

"Clay!" I began to bawl loudly. I cried out Clay's name hoping he could find me, "Clay! Please!" I could see the zombie coming closer it was only a few meters away now. I closed my eyes and braced for the zombie.

Is this it? Is this how I die?
