At the bottom of my heart
You will soon see
That I have a soul
Buried deep inside me
It doesn't come out much
I hide it away
When I find the "one"
I'll show them someday
Maybe it will scare them
Maybe they'll leave me
I'll add them to my list
Of people who deceived me
One day the tables will turn
I'll leave you without me, your burden to burn
